  • i love this guitar in right normal version...with a tech21 trademark 60 its perfect

  • Hey great playin but next time stand further back so your guitar pick dont make so much noise heee.

  • Got this yesterday! I love it! The sound is. Amazing! A very quick fretboad and looks amazing! I thank you man for showing it off and giving a great review! : )

  • Nice vid. You r right about the price issue. The epi standard ( which I have in lefty too) retails for just over 500. The Gibson custom is almost 4,000. I also agree with the action on this guitar. Perfect. Way better than my buddies 06' Gibson standard

  • Plus your left handed as well! Me too man! : )

  • You should be a Epiphone salesman!*** : )

  • Oh man! Great demo and picture! I had doubts but after watching this! Buying it on Tuesday! The only thing I will forever worry about with this guitar, is the strap button coming out! There has been some horrific story's about the strap button coming out of the guitar, and ultimately breaking! Anyhow - great video and playing! The shots after the demo were fantastic! You should be about Epiphone salesman! : )

  • @ChrisParks93 thanks for the nice comments :) These are really nice guitars

  • in a parallel universe!!!

  • wish i could play like that sick bro

  • play that shit BOY!!!!!!

  • I get uneasy watching leftys. Not sure why....

  • @earthwormjimrules It's because we are WEIRD! ;)

  • im left and ive got the same guitar its a very good guitar

  • i got an epiphone les paul standard Ebony but after 6 months of playing the frets are dead ,did anyone had the same problem??

  • epic playing mate..

  • @iratecabbie Thank you :)

  • Thx,you deffinetely helped me make my choice about guitar.

  • Not sure whether to get this or the squire classic vibes 50s strat

  • @menamesjames See which one you like the most when you play them.

  • @intheblues bought the Epiphone Les paul standard about 5 moths ago :)

  • Great vid & review

  • left handed? great playing!

  • @AppleFaction yep, im backwards, cheers!

  • finally a demo of the epi les paul standard made by someone who can really play :)

  • Nice sound!

I bought my husband one of the Tokia LPS knock offs a few years ago, the model that got Tokai shut down, again, for being too close of a counterfeit, and he likes it better than his genuine model.

Goes to show you never can tell, doesn't it?

  • @thegirl44 Tokais are quite good. I haven't found one I thought was as good as a gibson in my hands mainly because Ive only ever seen one left handed one around and had no choice hehe. A few friends love those guitars and with good reason. Its all in the hands and a good amp. :) Keep groovin! :)

  • Great sound....

  • @lukequixotesanjose thanks man

  • Nice play, do you have tabs for this? I really want to play something like this, but im not that good at improvisation

  • @Pokerwezep Just improv man, :) copy some riffs off cds/albums/youtube ;)

  • Nice playing, always great to see a south paw in action!!

  • @rayjaysonic thanks man

  • Are those stock pickups? They sound pretty good.

  • @bluesman2050 yep it's straight off the shelf :)

  • Sounds nice Shane. I love mine and just about to buy the tribute model.

  • @SIXSTRING63 cool! yeah they are really nice guitars

  • @7dayaddiction yeah they are really nice. So much easier to play than most guitars I've tried up until now.

  • Shane, can you please give some info on the pedals you are using here and your amp? This is a great sound you've got. Superb guitar there. I'm also a lefty so I'll probably will check them out here in Belgium.

  • @kkeulena Hi mate. I am actually using no pedals at all. I am just plugged straight into my fender hot rod deluxe on the overdrive channel. Hope that helps :) Thanks for the comments I love this thing, it's as easy to play as a stratocaster.

  • @intheblues Allright! The nice sustain at 1.56 and with the power cord at 2.48 I really thought you had an extra OD pedal or compressor running. This guitar really has a great sound and sustain. Makes me think of my Gordon Smith Gipsy II but this one costs far less.

  • @kkeulena thanks yeah it hold notes really well :)
