@DieselCountry88 I thought that too but it was prob still in the tape player when he pulled it out, I can imagine cruising this in the early 80's listening to this lol
I love this truck and the sharp look of the paint and the classic interrior i almost feel bad for asking but would you ever consider selling her id love to have this in my wedding along side my 68 Chevelle
@CR250R40 awesome man i just started the resto on my 67. it has a similar story except it wasnt lucky enough to be indoors lol. it sat for about that long. check out the vids i made of her.
Once again man, the truck s story makes your truck very interesting and more valuable. I can t tell you how exciting is to see that video. I wish I had a similar story but I got my 68 in July 2009. If you want to see its pictures I ll show you what I ve done so far. Ain t much, but we ll do.
Maaaannn. I don t know what to tell you. In my personal opinion man. I agree with frosty9595, eightbanger and teamracing14. I have a 68 I made it shortbed. It s still project. Honestly CR250R40, I don t recommend you sell that treasure. That s not only a 1968 Chevy C10. It s 1968 Chevrolet Pickup Sees First Daylight In 24 Years. Bring it to Tijuana, Mexico labor is MUCH cheaper and excellent quality job than in your country and the U.S. If $ what makes you think twice. C´mon man keep it & fixit
Those old trucks last forever. I would just redo the brakes and change alll of the fluids (I mean EVERYTHING) and maby and rubber that had rotted on the engine and a tuneup without a doubt.
Very cool looking Truck mate, I love those wheels...I'm sorry that you have been unable to enjoy it the way you should have, and in a way I wish you were able to just carry on keeping it yourself rather than letting it go, you've kept it safe for this long.
I may look into adding that little padded panel around the radio myself, I quite like that idea, I like the interior it has an nice olskool vibe to it.
Best wishes to ya mate, and good luck for whatever you decide to do.
its worth alot more with out restoring it in its state. keep it original like that tearing that thing down to rebuild it would kill old truck enthusiasts! please dont
OMG that interior is hideous lol. With the interior redone, and some updated rims/tires it would be an awesome looking truck even compared to today's truck trends. Amazing after setting so long it's still in that good of condition. I have a 68 stepside myself that I'd like to restore one day. One of my favorite old trucks.
Thanks for the compliment. Not sure what to ask for it. I'm not sure what this year is worth.
I feel the best thing for this truck is to disassemble it and bring it up to date. The motor, rearend and brakes have sat too long to be roadworthy. Would make a great project for the person who's into rebuilding.
The truck is located in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada... some 100 miles north of the American/Canadian border / Ovoville, Washington.
Dude beautiful truck i bet you got so much tang back in the day in this jewel!!!!! 2 thumbs ups! But your killinme with this song! haha
