My advice is that rejection is a step closer to getting to your girlfriend. If you were promised to meet the girls of your dreams but in order to get their , you had to get rejected 50 times by 50 different girls to get to her would u do it? we have to realize that we are trash to some but diamonds to others and eventually there will be a connection.

I kinda have the same problem, I'm decent looking and kinda shy (atleast I think I used to be). I go to Penn State and on weekends I walk around with a boombox and just have dance parties (you can see why I say 'used to be'). I have a blast with everyone and everyone wants to party with me and get to know me. Girls just flock to me, dance/kiss/ and are all over me.

I take care of myself. Shower everyday, brush my teeth twice a day, eat healthy by sacrificing delicious food, exercise almost everyday.. I'm very fit, and fairly ripped.
I do everything I know to do to look good, however I am still at the mercy of what I cannot change. I'm 5'6". I'm 20 and already starting to bald. It sucks. I can't do anything about it, no matter how hard I try I can never look good because of this.
It's just a .. "meh" situation. What can I do?

Human beings have a hard time with rejection. Just watch American idol and watch people melt down when rejected. The guys i've know who got the most pootang. They were not shy. They were semi good looking guys who just put themselves out there. Rejection just bounced off them, didnt take it personally. I've seen girls run away from them like they had aids, they just moved on to the next girl. I've seen SHY guys internalize rejection for weeks after trying just 1 time to talk to a chick.
