i have a huge problem. what do i do when people block my normals? lets say i do a ABCStinger blockstring? nothing is safe so should i just fish for confirms with crouching medium? even that gets punished on whiff.

@sean914 Judgment Cut in safe on block, +4 i think.

@sean914 Yeah, nothing is safe. If you make it to you heavy in a block string, instead of just dropping the string continue to do heavy + special, til they push block ,then drop. Or call an assist like Dante's jam session to lock them in block. It's probably your safest bet, even tho with a fast reaction time and fast character (i.e wesker) they'll still get the confirm. Safest approach is judgemnt cut + assist to open your opponent up, then dash in with a crouching medium

Xuses, Been Play with Hulk(Point) Virgil(Second) Trish(Backup). Both Trish(Air Peekaboo) and Virgil(Judg.Cut) are good Assists for Hulk, same with Vice Verse for Trish, But for Virgil? Im finding it hard to get in and combo. Any thoughts?

Xuxes, I've noticed that Vergil is a real meter whore, and I've decided to pick him up as my anchor. So I have 2 questions, is anchor where Vergil is best suited, or does he belong as point? and Secondly, are there any good meter building techniques with my team of X-23, Deadpool, and Vergil? I usually avoid using team aerial combos down because they are predictable.

@xxNightxTrainxx Vergil can be awesome on point and as an anchor. Best way to build meter is to do resets. There should be plenty for all characters on youtube.

@xxNightxTrainxx I know this is 2 week old comment but If you have a problem with meter, Deadpool's keep away game is amazing for meter build. You should put deadpool on point to keep your meter high. I'm just a silly noob but i do know that much.

@xxNightxTrainxx if you're willing to experiment with different characters then maybe you could try out either Frank, Amaterasu or Morrigan. They each have an assist that builds a set amount of meter

I never really messed around with button configuration, but I take it that's a pretty effective way to juggle between round trip and his M/H. I'm still relatively a noob so this really helps alot with my combo extension.

@DuskCrunch180 PS3 controllers are better than 360 controllers for fighting games really. MVC3 doesn't have many things which are particularly hard to do on a pad anyway.

This is very helpful. I have a question, if you can answer, that would be great. So Vergil is a character I want to learn and master. So my team is Vergil-Rapid Slash, Doom- Plasma Beam, and Spencer- Slant Shot. I was told that you dont really need a OTG assist to pull off really good Vergil combos and well now I see this. So if possible, can you tell me if this is a fine team? or well is this a good team for Vergil?

Could you cover potential assists for the next episode? i have been running Vergil, Dante, Wesker since day one, and i see you using Crystal assist, instead of Weasel shot, which i have been using. I have been banging my head over and over against the wall, since the assist isnt that great and you get HB A LOT when playing against chars like Wesker and Nova.

I would say cover his grabs. specifically his air grabs in your next video if you havent planned to do so already. you know, connecting a s.H into stinger after an air grab.

first of all, thank you for your videos. i appreciate the tutorial and the combo videos a lot. secondly, i have a question concerning the medium teleport after a helmet breaker. i can't seem to get the timing right after an aerial MMH+ helmet breaker like your are doing in your BNB #2 or #3 or after simply performing a helmet breaker after a super jump. when do i have to press medium? or are you inputting the command for the teleport?

One basic thing I have a lot of trouble with is the timing of his QCF hyper after his DF Heavy. I even tried mashing it and it doesn't work half the time. Any advice on that?

Your having trouble doing the dimension slash hyper twice in a row? or just one time? after his otg let the stick go neutral then input QCF+ATKATK

@panicave Actually what you need to do is to input the hyper with H + either L or M. What actually happens when you see people cancel from 3H to 236Hyper is 3H - trick down - 236 Hyper. By inputting the hyper with at least one button being H, the game will read it as a trick down and does a cancel for you.

@panicave one thing i heard is that if you want to link a hyper u HAVE TO USE HARD ATTACK AS ONE OF THE 2 ATTACKS. if you do the otg and then use L and M for the hyper it wont work

W/ Vergil's Air Dimension, I've noticed (after his OTG) that it's easier to use Light & Heavy or Medium & Heavy attacks in conjunction rather than Light & Medium... which I could never get one out after Vergil reaches the apex of his OTG.

@TheCreator316 Nah, Wesker only got better. He's still in the same firm position as in Vanilla, higher even. He isn't meter dependent like Vergil and can do big damage easy.

No, Vergil is Vergil. Wesker is just as if not better than his vanilla incarnation. There is no new wesker/wolverine/phoenix.
