You haven't learnt properly. Uninformed pople love this little cliche, but actually the Amazon is a closed system. It consumes all the oxygen it creates, because the trees are old and big. When forests are growing, they do produce more oxygen than they consume. That is why actually working on a responsible industrial development plan would actually open up the system. You haven't learnt properly. Uninformed pople love this little cliche, but actually the Amazon is a closed system. It consumes all the oxygen it creates, because the trees are old and big. When forests are growing, they do produce more oxygen than they consume. That is why actually working on a responsible industrial development plan would actually open up the system. Take it from a professional forester that actually lived there. Not touching it does NOT help.

We have the most dramatic impact on mother nature. killing off animal species to feed growing populations causes an imbalance in predator-prey levels. Additionally, humans introducing foreign animals and plants into areas that are unfit to support these invasive animals. you think the poor in brazil can afford to eat beef? do you know anything at all about food production? it takes 1500 gallons of water to make one pound of beef, and if they're not grass fed, it takes 8.3g of soy to get 1g of weight gain in a beef cow. it's one of the most inefficient means of food production there is. you can a family or two of vegetarians for the cost of one family of beef eaters...it's only rich people who eat beef as a staple food.

For those who believe global warming is not happening according to paid propagandists. Same thing happened in the 80's when doctors were paid to say that it was uncertain or not a correlation between lung cancer and tobacco smoking. Global warming was stated almost 2 decades ago by scientits around the world and now same as tobacco companies paid experts to say inconlusive stories now is being done to global warming. Know your history too.

im sorry,but who ever believes this is that global warming shite,then im sorry your wrong. Evidence shows that Earth has endured even more severe droughts millions of years ago. What about the ice ages? The Earth is warming up from the ice age, it doesn't warm up over night. One day if were still on this planet,another ice age will threaten us. Mammoths lived during the ice age, and thats proven as theyve found one frozen but perfectly preserved,meaning that temperatures were much colder before!
