mate you seriously should get some protection on. It's not funny when you slide and rip your skin off of your body and get to see nothing but bone. Broken bones heal; skin will never be replaced. Good riding as it's only your third time; but do yourself, family and friends a favor and get some protection slapped on that body before you hurt yourself. Cheers from Australia

So bikes are not dangerous if you have a helmet on? And learn to spell kid. Helmets in most cases do nothing but act as wind protection. Very rarely do they "save" your life especially at lower speeds. I suggest getting gloves and some protection clothing because road rashes will be worse than death.
