@MadCowCrazy it's RIDICULOUS how much failcom has nerfed necros since then...no more vile insight, no more hiding while pets fight, and spellweaving is 2x as hard now. even with siphon unlife active on all pets while spellweaving you will die before you get to level 6 spellweave -__-. necros are still mad fun but they are now a challenging class, which i personally enjoy but many others cry about. they are overpowered low levels and get COMPLETELY owned in high levels

Yes, that's right, every single class in AoC could stealth and pretty much 3-5shot kill any caster class in the game.
About 2 weeks after this video was made they patched the game so that you lost stealth if you attacked someone, even with pets. So running around with 1hp hoping to do PVP? Good luck with that...
@angrydog01 It should be added that I only played the game for about 6 months, the guild I'm in did everything there was to do in the game. We killed all the bosses, we owned one of the few castles you can capture but the game was just so shitty in the long run that it was not worth it.
The game should have been in beta for at least another year, it failed because it was released too soon.
I dont know what it is like today or how many ppl play it, but back then the game was shit.
@MadCowCrazy I'm in the same boat as you. 3 months beta 4 months gameplay. I just came back and they improved the gameplay and end game significantly. I recommend you return!

screw life stealers, if ya stealth.. use corruptors or casters... those initial "noob" pets do great dmg, cause of thier stacking dot. x) especially with TONS of them.
who cares if they copied wow at the end of the day they may seem the same but there both different senarios so someone may not like wow but may like age of conan, either way round they are both good games, just wow is more popular :)

this game is amazing... it spells and gameplay are a bit better than wow.. but gear wise and looks based from gear are a little better... honestly i play both (seperate computors) but age of conan takes more than double the space wow does.. but its worth it.. imo at least.. love necromancers
lol "only", before patch you would have had 5 i think. btw thats with the one with death talent which gives you more pets and Army of the dead which gives you several more temporarily.
21.5 second channeling, 1-3 pets summon every 3 sec depending on how lucky you get. Usually you just get the regular ones with a polearm, sometimes u get the dual wielding ones and sometimes one with a 2h sword.
Pets are complete and utter shit, no worth what so ever.
Melee pets are pathetic. A moving target in pvp/pve even after the pets got a speed boost can kite them indefinitely.
The person in this video sacrificed 99% of his health with a feat in order to summon 3 more Reapers. Instead of 8 slightly redish guys, he had 11. Example, went from 3.3K lvl 80 health to 300 lvl 80 health.
You see how 1 AOE spell knocks pets to the ground and a follow up AOE kills them as well as the Necromancer.
You can have a standard necro pet summoned forever, PSS pet 60sec or a bit longer with talents, Fatality pet 60sec, Army of the Dead 60sec after channeling finnishes.
No damage bonus or anything like that, it just summons those 8-15 pets (if u are lucky to get the extra pets) and they last for about 1min after channeling is complete.

No, atleast at the time there were no turn undead spells or anything like that in the game.
Basically the talents and skills I used allowed me allot of summons, but it reduced my hp to 1.
I died from an aoe spell at the end because I was too close.
This is Age of Conan btw for those that dont know.
I played it for about 3 months at launch but it was so bug ridden and unbalanced my guild quit it and so did 600 000 other people.

lol "only", before patch you would have had 5 i think. btw thats with the one with death talent which gives you more pets and Army of the dead which gives you several more temporarily.

One with Death feat allows more and Army of Dead grants many more temporarily.
Otherwise she'd only have 8 too.

21.5 second channeling, 1-3 pets summon every 3 sec depending on how lucky you get. Usually you just get the regular ones with a polearm, sometimes u get the dual wielding ones and sometimes one with a 2h sword.
Pets are complete and utter shit, no worth what so ever.

I play a "Non"Cromancer in AoC. Lvl 70 atm.
My 2 cents:
Melee pets are pathetic. A moving target in pvp/pve even after the pets got a speed boost can kite them indefinitely.
The person in this video sacrificed 99% of his health with a feat in order to summon 3 more Reapers. Instead of 8 slightly redish guys, he had 11. Example, went from 3.3K lvl 80 health to 300 lvl 80 health.
You see how 1 AOE spell knocks pets to the ground and a follow up AOE kills them as well as the Necromancer.

You can have a standard necro pet summoned forever, PSS pet 60sec or a bit longer with talents, Fatality pet 60sec, Army of the Dead 60sec after channeling finnishes.
You loose all when you die and have to resummon.

No damage bonus or anything like that, it just summons those 8-15 pets (if u are lucky to get the extra pets) and they last for about 1min after channeling is complete.

This is exactly what I wanted to see. Army of the Dead spell used on the necro's arch-enemy: PoM. (probably my favorite 2 classes)
I'm glad this spell actually does what it says nicely. RAISE A BADASS UNDEAD ARMY!
