She is right Kenyan banks for the last 5yrs have recoded over 10% pre tax profit to date thats 50% returns on bonds and the central bank has regulated the interest rate and influation is below 5% I am buying bonds down there and their doing well Invest in Africa people dont give hand outs if you want to help Africa

I think the west has a paternalistic and racist attitude towards third world nations. Dambisa Moyo is a brave young woman she is saying Africans must help themselves. She is correct. The western world, the international monetary fund wants to keep Africans poor.

these images are the reason why people think africa is a hell hole, when showcasing investment opportunities, why not put the city centres and 1st class buildings we do have in africa, by advertising poverty and shanty towns this is the way the media keep us shut from developing in this world.

this is a good topic of discussion...there is a lot to be addressed on both side of the argument. But I think that Ms. Moyo is on the right path...and the interviewer is only presenting the the counter argument. good video overall
