  • @PlanBVentureskater Yeah, I just went with what I heard when Raekwon said R.I.P. Inspectah Deck on the Hip Hop Awards a couple nights ago. That mufucka needs to clarify his self when sayin' shit like that. No wonder I havn't bought any of his records, he can't even speak properly, let alone spit on the mic.

  • This is easily method's best verse in any song. he jus hits it soo cleanly and his voice really matches tha song maan its sik!!!!

  • method man kills it non stop. its the metaphors like the one in this song. you got cut, the scar doesnt let you forget. just like this cut (track) has been stuck in my head for 2 months).

i challenge to you find a better 4 bar decimator than method. listen to his verse on protect ya neck (the jump off), best ive ever heard. followed up by GZAs verse, which may be the smartest, most creative and most flowing bar of metaphors ive ever heard.

    jayz sucks balls.

  • "They Wu Tang For Life, Scarred For Life, They Cant Forget The Cuts.."!!-Method Man

"Fly Crtiteria, Bury me In Africa,With Whips And Spears And Rough Diamonds Outta Syria"!!!!!-Raekwon

This is what Deck is about.

Killing the shit right from the beginning.

2 sentences and you will stick to this song.

The first one in the battlefield: Mr Rebel INS

    Ghostface is fucking unbelievable consistent.

He should be called best Rapper of time... He is almost perfect (still I prefer GZA or Rakim but that's personal).

Flow and Lyrics DOPE FOR 20 YEARS. No one has done that before.

  • @Bananarepublicboy

spot on. and this is comin from a smart white boy. mainstream rappers cant touch this layered, metaphorical business.

SCARRED FOR LIFE, THEY CANT FORGET THE CUTS.

  • @Bananarepublicboy I'm assuming Inspectah Deck means the Italian dish when he says Angel Hair?

  • @Bananarepublicboy Those 2 lines were the ones that got me stuck on this song.

  • @Bananarepublicboy YOU DAMN RIGHT!

  • @Bananarepublicboy i always considered INS the elite of Wu that gets slept on. Dude spits fire regardless.

  • method mann

  • i love listening to this song while a play prototype. i dont know how but when i slaughter people cuting them in half and destroying talks and helicopters, this song always goes good with it :)

To dump on niggas, our guns is chunky

Usually we bust niggas down with bats, swell up they joints

Elbow, wrists, they shins get cracked

We still humiliate, brutalize, Ruger pop, pulverize

Still got gear in the closet, that's stupid live"

    HAHAHAHAHA

  • lol man you should've mentioned in your comment that that's one of raekwon's lyrics in this song, but it's still retarded that the other people who put a thumbs down on your comment were too retarded to read the lyrics

    wut album is this from?

  • smoke a blunt to this classic shit

  • damnnnnnnn

best verses of inspectah decks and meths career?

    just maybe.

  • lol nahhh, best Deck verse still goes to Triumph man.

  • agreed but this is just as memorable cause of that lobster sauce reference, shit's too unique not to stand out

  • Yeah no doubt. And I fully agree with you on this being Meth's greatest too.

  • i also like Deck's verse in "City High". but yeah, Triumph was good.

  • im lovin the 1990's beats. never gets old. hope they don't change. just gets better and better.

  • crazy ill shit

  • bessstttttt fuckinn jointt on da album i just got it todayy and raekwon was there to sign autographs wu-tang killa be for lifeee

  • this song pounded my sound system like holy shit. wu-tang forever. 5/5.

  • J.Dillaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Wu Tang Killa Beez we on a swarm

  • shit i tried to cop this album best buy was sold OUT!

  • Meths flow is ill!

  • Sounds like its 1995 again !!! Best solo album in a while.

  • this is a dilla beat, there are 3 on the album

  • Shit Wu Killin it Again, Dope Beat RZA should do the whole thing

    Shaolin all day motherfucker

  • this is a tight classic wu beat, but shit maine, they have all those members in the group when then do an album they probably get no paper, yes I know this is a Reakwon album

  • because you faggots don't buy albums anymore. if he would sell 5 million everyone would be eating but you'd rather spend it on candy bars and xbox games.

  • why the fuck is RZA not producing the whole album?

  • cuz since 8 diagrams rza and rae havent seen eye to eye

  • This is a quote from Raekwon explaining why RZA's not doing every track.

"I allowed myself to track down some of the finest niggas in the game that done it and basically get them involved with the project. RZA was always there to do whatever, whatever... but at the same token I wanted more. You know what I mean, I wanted to go out and challenge myself even more with different production and different producers."

So basically he wanted to give others a shot.

  • Fire... Buy the album

  • dont download this album get off yo ass and cop tis on the 8th we have to support wu knowing this could be their last chance to step up

  • Wu...damn. loving this shit.

  • Cuban Linx 2 album of the year, already.

When Rae came on and I saw the video to this track, it put goosebumps on my skin, for real. The intensity of him in the first 4-6 bars is nuts. It's like he really really is amped up to prove once again that he's the God.

  • who said hip hop is dead??

  • THANK GOD FOR REAKWON!! lord knows these other rappers is not making classic shit like this

  • Rhythm and flow is unbeatable, its just to bad they lost a lot of energy.

  • ****NiCe****

  • Damn! Didn't realize how much I missed this shit!

  • can't top THE WU!!

  • Dope shit!

  • matter of fact fuck the beat just listen to the lyrics.. they mad dope.. Rae rip this like a animal.. but somehow i like the beat.. sound like some military shit.. respect the W

  • this song always remind me of Clan in the Front, just because of the way the chorus's sound similar

  • unbeleivable .. beat .. its the real intro the album .. a long time since an album lived up to its expectations

  • My head can't stop bumpin...

    J Dilla!!!

    Straight fire...

I wonder when this song was recorded...

  • siiiiiiiiick.

  • This is like the worst Dilla beat ever too. he probably did it in 15 minutes in his hospital bed and Rae paid him 75 K. Just sounds forced and watered down. Makes me sick to say it.

  • I'm a big wu fan but let's be honest wu is sounding old like when you heard kool moe dee rapping after hearing rakim.

The best albums are now very old. Bobby Digital.Half of Immobilarity is good and half of Bulletproof Wallets. and that was the end of good Wu solo albums. And wu as a group hasn't been consistently good since the double album. perfect example is this beat. it isn't dusty like the old wu. I think MF Doom is the best emcee right now. Victor Vaughn album is what wu used to be.

  • so youre saying that albums like fishscale, and the new raekwon stuff isn't dope? it might not be exactly like the old wu, but honestly its close; back to the grimey beats and raw lyrics

  • Word. I agree with everything you said.

  • Great classic Wu sound, diffidently needed.

  • You listen to DOOM ..no wonder you're lame.

    Raekwon>>>>>DOOM.

  • agreed :P but dont be hatin' a on a nigga. DOOM does his style. have respect like Rae does .

  • this is real hip-hop.. go listen to soulja boy and lil wayne if you want to hear your shitty time changing music

  • ob4cl1 classic

ob4cl2 after hearing this song lots of potential

  • I LOVE THIS!

  • flawless.

SLEEP WITH THE SAFE IN THE WALL

  • Raekwon>>>>Jay-Z. Get it right!

  • yo dat shit iz hot!!!!

  • I love this song, gives me that old Wu feeling.

  • You can hear snippets of the whole album on amazon..amazing tracks.

  • send me the link. please

  • this album is gonna shit on jay's album, cudi's album, wale's album, clipse's album... Wu tang foreverrrrrr

  • sICK wU IS bACK FEELS LIKE THE 90'S AGAIN.........

  • Fresh shit!

  • Damn, J Dilla did this?!!! Dilla was sounding more like RZA than RZA does nowadays. J Dilla RIP.

  • SHAOLIN SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • WU FOREVER NIGGAS sooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • "some guy named j-dilla"? Wow!...

Where you from or where you been?

If you don't know Dilla then you need to turn OFF your AM/FM radio and let some real Hip Hop in.

  • to be honest i havent paid attention to anything recent cuz rap has been trash. but if hes nice like that i'm glad u guys are putting me on to him. I def never paid attention to production either so thats prolly why.

  • this is a j dilla production. i had this beat on a j dilla beat tape for like 2 years

  • Kool. Black Milk recently made a beat 4 GZA. Like this JD one, it was tailor made for the Shaolin MC's in a Wu fashion.

  • Now, this is the sort of music I have been expecting from the Chef. If this is what we can expect from OB4CL 2, then I cannot wait for the LP to drop. Lyrics is ill & the beats is phat. Dope! Now, do any1 know who made the beats? Rza? Tru Master? Bronze Nazareth? or Mathematics?

  • dilla produced this one. then you got marley marl on a production, couple dre beats i think, rza comes through, alchemist, pete rock..i think necro too.

  • oh yeah mathematics is on a production check tracklisting on wiki.

  • Thanks!

  • i know some guy named j-dilla made this beat. and i heard rae himself might have done some production as well. i dont think rza had anything to do wit this they were kinda beefing and rza did kinda fall off.

  • Thanks 4 the information. But Jay Dee ain't some random guy mate. If you are a true hip-hop head, then you should know who he is. Not chastising u in anyway, just a bit taken aback that you do not know who Jay Dee of Slum Village fame is. PEACE!

  • i hear this kind of music and its like i walked through a desert for 10 years and then got a cold bucket of refeshing water thrown in my face.

  • lol never a truer statement

  • wu tang is for the kids !

  • you're a fool

  • Don't worry. Look at the guy's profile and recent activity box and see how much of a hypocrite he is.

  • you think wu should just die? get the fuck outta here.

  • yo u must have no life if u go on every hip hop music video and comment on how bad u think it is, get a life u dick rider

  • Man y'all niggaz ain't shit to us, split your head like a dutch! Less push this music past the point!

If all the joints sound like this and Wu ohh that shit is going to be another classic and might be worthy of the title!
