I saw this bike being built at Perry's shop in Ft. Worth back in '97. Small world.

No, it is not a Rennsport, in fact it is a joke to call it a Rennsport. A real Rennsport is a 500cc OVERHEAD CAMSHAFT factory road racer. This posturing and posing douchebag has a streetbike with a pushrod engine. The only thing it has in common with a real Rennsport is the color of it's paint. Another sad example of the hollow and shallow rich-boy ripping off something real in an attempt to give his pathetic life a kind of meaning it will never be able to have.

Wasserman NEVER claimed it was an authentic Rennsport but clearly explains its a HOMAGE to a period Rennsport. He says it started life as a /2. IMO its a cool custom and well done. Your comments are mean spirited and uncalled for. If you cant build one or afford to have one built suck it up!

@TheNcmoto Uh, his actual words are "it is quite an authentic version of that." When in fact, it is not an authentic version of anything at all. He is a rich boy who wanted a toy and Someone made some nice cash off the dummy bolting a few cliched cafe parts onto a street bike. I have a lot better things to do with my time/money than spend it on wannabee people and bikes. Break out the Gatorade, he rode it a whole 20 miles to the show.....
