USA was never strong, in fact USA lost the cold war, the only reason why USA stayed a float for another 25 years is because it used other coutries all over the world to inject itself with borowed money and resources. Thats is why the national debt is 14 trillion dollars. USA is a big ponsi scheme piramid. People up top got insanely rich while the bottom are just slaves, drones who work their ass for the elite. Now most coutries that got sucked into the US scheme gonna feel the pain.

We need to actively encourage local industry ... and that means protectionism. We cannot compete against countries that only pay workers a fraction of what we do.

What this means for consumers is that everything will go up in price ... but without this protection we might not have any consumers in the first place.

We need to face facts ... it is probably not possible to have really cheap consumer goods and a healthy economy.
