  • You get the best BCAA at iherb.com If you use the referral code: daj756 you will get an extra $5 off on your first order :)

  • @twinmuscleworkout do you guys think BCAA products would help someone who is living a vegan lifestyle?? who is unable to eat dairy or meat. trying to give a friend some advice and most protein powders contain some sort of egg or dairy in it. thanks

  • @waterfordbum89 if your a vegan u can just forget about building any muscle your basically a walking vagina

  • @420Crackdealer hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @420Crackdealer LMAO omg i just thought id read the funniest comment of the day but yours wins hahaha

  • I'm new to workout supplements and was wondering if I really need creatine?

  • Kevin pronounce Amino as Aminio acids.. Aminio, seriously? And u got fuckers who believe that shit comin outta ur big lips? No comment.

  • Steroids

  • hey you two fags stop using steriods

  • @tankkfp that's what she said

  • i think that if you believe they work then youre gonna see improvement but not neccesarily because of the bcaa's but mostly because youre convinced that since you took them youre gonna be able to do more reps and have more power and that thought arleady enables you to do more reps and have more power

  • LOL

what a super scientific presentation ! thank "Dupond brothers"

  • BCAAs are pre digested as u said so if u take it after a workout its absorbed right away. the ones in protein shakes are peptide bond so they need to be broken down. so u need BCAAs

  • I have started using xtend 2 months ago and amazing results while cutting alot of calories from my diet and loosing weight. I have been able to maintain most of my strength on my lifts. I think u don't need bcaa supplementation if you are bulking but while on a cut and ur low on calories I think bcaa are amazing.

  • well i have to kinda agree on that , u better spend ur money on a protein stuff or amino acids that have them all essencial and non essencial, super amoni 4800 dor example though i prefer protein supplements

  • if this is true then why are BCAA's in so many preworkout products, SIZEON and others

  • @AustinDuggal there in everything you are probably getting enough bcaas in your diet so supplementing it your just gonna piss it out and waste it.

  • 58 people wasted their money on buying BCAAs

  • Correction. Non essential are what your body can create without food. My mistake. But google it. Web MD it. I dont' need to explain it. Educate yourself. Thank you.

  • You can never get all of your Amino acids from your foods. There are essential and non essential amino acids. Non essential are the acids that your body can breakdown from food. But, you can never get enough aminos from food alone to "efficiently" build muscle. Essential are what your body needs from outside sources. "BCAA" are an easy way to supplement these. I will not listen to som gangster rhetoric and believe what these gentlmen say when they cannot even pronounce what the subject is.

  • @JaykeMEllis someone had to say it. thank you.

  • I do not mean to put your intelligence down by any means lalem. But, I am a certified nutritionist as well as a certified personal trainer. Of course companies do not want the public to know about the inner working of the body. They want people like these gentlemen to confuse you and lead you in the wrong direction. As you were saying regarding "Complete", no, i'm afraid you are wrong. There is no food known to man that is complete.

  • BCAA's are not a waste of money. These guys are idiots and give completely inaccurate advice. Listen to them if you will. Educate yourself on how your body works during protein Synthesis. Otherwise it's like the blind leading the blind. Without BCAA's your body cannot build protein "Efficiently". BCAA's also help to maintain a consistent anabolic state. Will you feel the results per say like a supplement such as "Jack3d?" No. but, you are a fool to think that BCAA's are not a necessity.

  • @JaykeMEllis lol thats the point. these guys are right on the money. amino acids are what all proteins are made of. all meat, poultry, egg, soy, and dairy proteins are called "complete" because they have all the amino acids. you dont need to take bcaa's unless you are a vegan bodybuilder with a soy allergy. you will get bcaa's from your protein sources. and jack3d is a pre-workout stimulant! supplement companies want your money they're not trying to educate you on protein synthesis.

  • I started to use BCAA and have less muscle fatigue ,than before on recovery. I think these are ok at the right price

  • whats next? "don't use vitamins its bulllshit use steroids!!!!!!!"

  • Well Lui Marco says Bcaa is essential and hes a bodybuilder isnt he?

The Pros dont take it cause they dont need to on roids...Duh!

  • They sound like a bunch of black rednecks.

  • hmmm so you are saying creatine and glutamine are useless? maybe lift some more before talking shit barely got any muscle compared to me.

  • Ameeneo Acids...Word to yo mutha

  • why dont you just have a usp banner in the background.

  • as you know, BCAAs are added into many protein supps. But did you know that all proteins contain single-chain amino acids, which the body can make into branch chain amino acids if need be?

You may hear the term "Essential" amino acids, which means that the body cannot produce them on it's own. You need to ingest proteins from your diet in order for you body to make them. DOESN'T HAVE TO COME FROM A BCAA SUPPLEMENT (that's just another little white lie the supplement companies tell you)

  • I just look at Sandow in the years around 1900 and I know I dont need anything but good nutrition...

Majority of you is brainwashed by the forums where the guys of the Supp-Industry post, and you have no own experience with what helps you...

  • Always take free advice it's the best up ever get!!!

  • sorry but you guys really shouldn't be giving advice on subjects you clearly know nothing about.

  • branch chained "AMINIEO" acids are useful for preventing muscle loss during dieting.

when you are dieting your body doesnt have enough carbs to burn during training so it will convert muscle tissue to glucose and burn it. when u have bcaas in ur blood muscle will be spared.

  • @amostofi1999

ya muscle will be spared and bcaa will be burned if you take it. Diet is diet.... you can't diet without losing a little muscle mass

  • I beg to differ, after meets and races this quickens my recovery.

  • you guys are very misinformed about this subject.

  • Well, actually, BCAAs aren't exactly for building muscle. They are to prevent muscle catabolism if you're doing fasted training, or people who practice fasting and don't get enough protein during long fasts.

  • first of all, they're not even fitness professionals. second, how can you trust guys who can't even say amino acids right. third, what level of education do they have regarding fitness- degree in nutrition, sports medicine, etc. but they can think whatever the fuck they wanna think. besides, most protein supplements contain BCAAs now so whatever.

  • Amineo Acids

  • thanks for the advice

  • can we still do what ever the fuck we wanna do?

  • Man, these 2 don't know shit about biochemistry or how amino acids are used and absorbed by the body.

Way to suggest taking a mass-load of stimulants instead. Brilliant. I hope none of the kids watching this video take that advice.

As far as professional bodybuilders taking BCAAs, I can think of 4 off the top of my head.

    Evan Centopani

    Erik Fanhouser

    Branch Warren

    Jay Cutler

  • @palchod that must be why these guys are so small

Keep up the bad work ;)

  • Great video, don't listen to all the dumbass comments mayne

  • Hodgetwins rule

  • Hmm, I disagree. L-Glutamine definitely works for me. Eliminates DOMS W A Y quicker. Cheap as chips too, so I see no reason not to get it. I spend 6 dollars and it lasts me about 3 months.

  • fags!

  • why are there so many dislikes?

  • thank you guys, i went out to buy a proteine suplement for the first time in my life

and the seller tried to force me to also buy aminoacid with some bullshit excuses.

  • Correct, it's all in the food as stated. But, in a cutting phase, BCAA's can help to simply retain muscle while under calorie restriction. They have their place, if used properly. To mindlessly add them to a regimen without regard to their value as a supplement in terms overall diet and timing, is a waste of money.

  • Appreciate the videos guys, huge fan!

  • I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT THESE TWO but honestly it seems like their butt buddies... in other words they ram eachothers assholes!

  • @pumphouse00 no, i think they're brothers and you sir sound like a jackass

  • Do you guys sleep on bunk beds?

  • You two are idiots! Learn to say things correctly before you try to sound like you know what your talking about!

  • it is weird watching this.

  • There is good amount of research about creatine, caffeine, and calorie surplus to increase weight, but inconclusive research about supplementing with BCAA's, thus BCAA's are for the time being a waste of money. Theses guys are doing a great job of increasing this awareness

  • PEOPLE THAT SAY THESE GUYS ARE WRONG LOVE TO GET ROBBED. U NEVER GET A BODYBUILDER USEING BCAA N SHIT! ITS FOR ADVATISEMENT! THINK BASTARDS LISTEN TO FREE ADVISE! THE ONES WHO ARE SAYING THEY WORK ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY

  • @hedbilll98 first of all, they're not even fitness professionals. second, how can you trust guys who can't even say amino acids right. third, what level of education do they have regarding fitness- degree in nutrition, sports medicine, etc.

  • @hedbilll98 you're clearly very intelligent...

  • You guys are so smart! OMG ya can't even say the word amino ? Prove this theory

  • u guys are bull shit

  • Would be good to know what you base your "BCAAs are BS" theory on, you can't just say they're shit because they're shit, please do explain why

  • "Aminio" Acids? lol, nigger can't speak properly

  • lol unleashed by presurge its actually called presurge unleashed by Athletic Edge Nutrition

  • BRANCH CHAINED "AMINIEEO" ACIDS

  • fucking idiots

  • Remember bodybuilders do not use steroids, better try prohormones, they are safe and legal, more info: stacklabs.info

  • And you are a WASTE of TIME ! Fcking Homos !!!

  • i totally disagree with you folks

the thing is alot of the amino acids you take will go from blood to urine .. remember when you pee you see alot of foam? - thats the amino acids from protein

    but why ?

kidney will balance the ph level in your blood and minerals level

but when you take bcaa's especially after workout , you'll create high level of essential AA more than non essential AA

at that point no matter how much the kidney will waste you'll still manage high EAA level in the blood

  • @alaanees

and that means more eaa's to muscle > faster recovery

thats why you notice less pain the next day if you take the eaa's like

    leucine, isoleucine , valine

try it guys there is a cheap product on bodybuilding and other from optimum called 2:1:1 recovery

    all the best

  • Comment removed

  • @alaanees same thing as meat but you pay way more money, right?

  • @Hiphopisntdead1

meat amino acid profile almost like whey

infact whey is the best protein believe it or not , fast absorb , high biological value

whey is cheap > less fat > fast absorb

meat is expensive > more fat > high cholesterol > slow absorb

if you mix both would be great

  • @alaanees i dont like it

  • i started on BCAA's just over 2 weeks ago.... and im progressing alot faster than i was prior, pb's every workout.. placebo or not, i can definitely notice a difference.

  • @JCaSs1001 they overlooked the possible anabolic effect of excessive bcaa intake

  • @xXJeReMiAhXx99 lol overlooked????? rnt they saying its BS?? all the info ive found (inc my changes) say good things. if they find it isnt worth it then fair enuf tho

  • @JCaSs1001 lol they said it's bs ur protien has it but there are lots of claims that specificly extra leucine might be able to keep ur body in a anabolic state 24/7

  • the point of bcaas is to alter the amino acid composition of your protein supplement, for example adding leucine to your protein shake after your workout will trigger a more anabolic response

  • This is completely ridiculous. BCAAs have been shown to prevent muscle catabolism, and promote anabolism, especially while exercising, or dieting. BCAAs can also be used as an energy source by the body. They are absorbed quickly, without drawing blood away from the periphery, allowing for easy digestion during exercise. Protein that you take immediately post-workout still takes time before it reaches your system. BCAA uptake is almost instantaneous providing exactly what your muscles need.

  • @palchod noone is saying its bad. BCAA's are very important but you get them from your diet (meat eggs milk etc) and your protein shakes..

  • i am trying for few months with BCAAs and found a big change in the recovery time and geting my fat percentage lower. i found, it is a must.

  • why do you guys dress in matching wife beaters? it's gay as fuck

  • If anything..Preworkout stimulant supplements like the ones you have mentioned are a waste of money and are used by majority scronny teenage highschoolers who think creatinezzz is steroidzzz and will get them hyoogeee. That's not to say they aren't worthwhile for some just due to the stim effect, however BCAAs, particularly Leucine do exhibit an anabolic response when added to a post workout whey drink (even with BCAAs present in the whey) and they do exhibit an anti catabolic effect.

  • The physiological response to BCAAs is different than that of the amino acid chains in complete proteins. This is fact. I do agree that if someone has a good protein intake, then they are already getting a good amount of BCAAs, enough for good growth. However, for those who train fasted or are followers of IF like LeanGains or CheatMode...BCAAs become much more needed as a pre and during workout supplement. If you consume a preworkout meal...they aren't needed much though.

  • are u guys related?

  • @scotland1989able wow haha. do u not understand the meaning of twinmuscleworkout

  • @CoDVaRiaTionZz -_- that was a joke because they look completely identical

  • Dude at GNC tried to sell me a supp. stack including a whole bunch of amino acids and casein and what not. Im assuming since im skinny, he thought that i would jump at the bit to get bigger by any means necessary and BUY THIS PRODUCT. Nope. Not a fucking chance. I knew better. Thanks twinmuscle for giving me the advice to do whatever the fuck i want to with.

  • Dude, i cant agree with you on any of what you just said. If you want to develop Lean muscle mass. take your BCAA's or protein shakes. reguardless when it comes down to anything that you NEED TO BUY BECAUSE YOU DONT GET IT IN YOUR REGULAR DIET, then buy BCAAs. Pre workout does not make you buff it just gets you to find the cracked out energy to perform the task.

  • yeah.... neither of ya are over a buck fitty. cant even speak proper english. when ya got your degree in human nutrition & biology then post what ya know...all else is conjecture & assumption.

  • do you even need pre workout supplements? im using assault right now

but im leaving for the military navy seals, an I was told to get off of it, just wondering but are pre workout supps really a big deal to strength and muscle growth?

  • @Smokeydabear415 Yes & No...generally speaking, pre-workout supps. do work (in the beginning) & then your body builds up a resistance to it...Speaking from my own experience, I only benefited from them for about 5-6months...I'm off 'em now & my workouts are the same...Alot of people build resistance to them and wait a few months before jumping on them again...Most of them are all caffeine anyways...BottomLine: if you're serious & dedicated, you'll be OK without any pre-workout supps...Peace

  • @rocksvids08 thanks bro appreciate the helpful advice

  • No disrespect, but you brothers look gay as shit.

  • YOu bunch dumbasses!! lol, Thats why its called a -Supplement- you should take it to supplement if you are not getting enough protein or meat!! lol, ignorant fools.. WOW!

  • i am turning 16y/o do u thing that whey , amino acids , or even iso 100 is good for me and my age

  • @XdrummerX101 Dude, take Bcaa's Before and after you workout. and if you want really good results, Take them when you wake up instantly and right before bed. This will tell your body not to break down the lean mass and use fat and sugars as a source of fuel. Whey is good too but id recomend just eating your meat. Dont worry about creatine and preworkout drinks until your atleast 18. Beta Alanine is good for inhibiting lactic acid which delays muscle fatigue. i recomend that and bcaas. thats it

  • @SouthPaw6687 ok so i have to take bcaas when i wake upand before workout and after workout and before i sleep , so that 4 times a day or only when i wake up and before sleep not before and after workout, thanks alot

  • Twin friends, what do you think of magnesium supplementation?

  • the only video where y'alls haircut is clean :)

  • I'M GUNNA GO BACK THERE FOR PRODUCT ASSESSMENTS LOL

  • LOL THEY BASH BCAA YET THEY TAKE PRESURGE WHICH HAS A LOT OF CREATINE. I'D SAY 50% OF PPL WHO LIFT WEIGHTS REGULARLY OR FREQUENTLY ARE ON THAT FAKE SHIT IT'S TOTALLY FAKE AND IF THESE 2 STOPPED TAKING IT FOR LIKE A MONTH THEY'D LOOK DRASTICALLY DEFLATED

ANYWAY, I WAS STUNNED BC THERE'S THIS ONE SITE THAT DOES REVIEWS ON PRODUCTS; I THOUGHT THEY WERE DOING A GOOD JOB UNTIL I HEARD THE DUMBEST COMMENT IN A WHILE FROM THEM -- IT WAS SOMETHING LIKE: "The metabolism thing is a myth"

    I DON'T THINK

  • sounds like some bcaa manufacturer refused to sponsor you.

  • the thing with bcaa's are you wont notice results unless you use them correctly they are generally recommended for empty stomach consumption since taking with proteins form a competitive environment and you dont make the use of them, also they are useful for preventing the body going catabolic when in periods of very low cals such as pre contest, if you do use them as intended then you can go into a greater calorie defect than normal and still maintain muscle tissue, that said EAA's are better

  • How about take both. An abundance of protein may not be the best for you liver. BCAA are already broken down.

  • youre an idiot!!

  • this isnt exactly true... bcaa's are basically the same thing as protein thats true so you can just get those in protein true. but bcaa's are good because they come in a pill form and you can take it with you to work and take them when you cant eat. 1 gram of amino acids is equal to 5 grams of protein. if you can find really cheap amino acids its definately worth it. its a lot faster then a protein shake and doesnt taste nasty

  • @healthyandyoung sort your grammar out before you start talking crap!

  • you just take steroids!

  • Why am I seeing double

  • i dunno, i took amino acids and i can certainly feel alot of difference and see difference, so i dunno but this video sounds silly to me :/

  • your guys accent sounds like john c. reiley...

  • Fuuu- SION! youre lookin at 450 pounds of muscle right now

  • take em during your workout, they work

  • They Work For Me.

  • BCAAs are bullshit but pre-workout supplements aren't...rather spend £15 on a months supply of BCAA than £35+ on a tub of Caffeine! Geez..

  • you guys are idiots. BCAA's are fucking useful a lot of pro bodybuilders take it.

  • @THEsystemdownload i agree, these are fools

  • Yea just look at all the physiques that the ancient Greek and Roman Gods were modelled after.. over 2000 years ago people were sculpting their bodies very similar to a modern day body builder and not a single supplement company existed!

  • @FletcherHabit but they werent as big as modern day natural bodybuilders.

  • If you haven't taken it how are u so sure is bull shit?

  • BCAAs are 3 amino acids that bypass the liver and get absorbed directly my muscle tissue.

You can almost think of muscle tissue as BCAAs + water.

"l-leucine has been shown to be the specific trigger for protein synthesis" -Justin Harris. And he knows a hell of a lot more about supplements and bodybuilding than these guys

  • Aahhh they are so pretty!

  • guy cant even say amino acids

  • I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but I must disagree. Charles Poliquin has done multiple studies on the efficacy of BCAA's and results have been great. You said BCAA's are basically predigested protein, that is some what right if you are referring that they must not be digested first before entering the blood stream. In one study a group of athletes were put on a diet consisting of 200g protein and the other group was on a diet of 150g with 50g BCAA's. The BCAA group gained an avg. 7 pounds

  • @RyanFrick1 I believe the 250g protein group gained 2lbs.

  • BCAA supplements are mostly useful when cutting weight, since you're not eating as much. It's not a waste of money and it has it's purpose.

  • although there is some truth to this, if anyone knows anything about nutrition they would know bcaa are not for getting bigger, the purpose of taking these is to keep from be catabolic, gives you a bigger window between meals and supplys your body extra protiens for a work out so no its not a complete waste of money.

  • TWO VERY SEXY GUYS WOW;-)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • there are numerous studies..not just opinion..that support the use of BCAAs..pre, intra, and post workout for its anti-catabolic qualities..sorry guys but this time u are wrong

  • If u want to save so more money, try the pre work out drink by I FORCE called Maximize. Has all the same primary ingredience as all the top dogs but half the price. And trust me when I say its just as good if not better. Give it a shot. I know how expensive it can be when your trying to get an edge in the "Supp" game.

  • how do you guys feel about a higher amount of glutamine?...

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • hey guys i know your strongly agaisnt BCAA and amino, but i dont eat that much meat i hate the taste of it. so should i take BCAA since im not getting any of my aminos from meat?

  • haha luimarco made a video response to yall claim on BCAAs. Hes hating and he wants you all to show your bodies .lol

  • hahaha lui marco just responded to you guys!! check his vid out! its ONNNN

  • GHETTO WORKOUT!

  • Do these guys just make shit up based on their own opinions and disregard researched data? Who would listen to these two dudes? So when I take insulin I don't need to take BCAA/EAA's? Do you guys share one brain?

  • bcaas are a waste of money but 1rm and jack3d aren't? you guys are crazy

  • @plantera07

its like u wanna compare brown rice vs lettuce.....2 different things and two different products....the reason they promote jack3d is to get the xtra pump if you are working for a so n so long....if you can afford bcaa's on the top then why don't you go and buy it if it makes you happier.

  • hey guys, could you please make a video review of NO.XPLODE, would be great, and btw ur vidieos are so damn good

  • You guys are great .No bullsh*t and great info ,just what i like!

  • @mmmeijer01

The phrase branched-chain amino acids or BCAA is sometimes used to refer to the amino acids having aliphatic side-chains that are non-linear. These are leucine, isoleucine and valine. The combination of these three essential amino acids make up approximately 1/3 of skeletal muscle in the human body, and play an important role in protein synthesis. BCAA?s are currently used clinically to aid in the recovery of burn victims, as well as for supplementation for strength athletes.

  • Hey bro I luv your videos brothas but yall lost me with this one. I`m actually trying to cut for vacation in 16 weeks I been taking met Rx amino 3000 I take it right before my cardio in the am. Would that help me to spare my muscle? If not brothas what do yall recommend> got get this 4-6 pack. Doing low carb on the diet

  • Dymatize SUPER AMINO 4800 are great aminos,im taking them loonger now and im impressed ,my muscles are bigger+ i can pick more weigh*Dymatize Super Amino 4800 is a high quality, high-efficiency protein source made from the finest proprietary blend of Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, and Free Form Amino Acids. This custom blend is an excellent source of essential and non-essential amino acids including the valuable Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA).

  • Finally some people who don't spew bullshit about all the different supplements

  • The preworkout supps you mentioned are also a waste of money to me also. I take pure AAKG (which is only $11 per 30 servings) and a cup of organic black coffee no sugar added. I get the same amount of energy with no jitters. Also, studies show taking creatine and caffeine at the same time makes the creatine useless, which alot of the N.O. supplements have creatine in it.

  • holy shit i was going to buy BCAA caps....

  • I take no protein just aminos protein is the middle man and I out perform my friends on protein, protein is good no doubt but it dehydrates me. Aminos are faster for me.
