The engine in this car was a 2.3L T4 turbo with air/water intercooler. The engine is currently out of the car and has been gone through with better heads, bigger cam, higher compression and fuel injection. It should make a good bit more power when it goes back in. The webber carb setup was difficult to deal with. I had it tuned for an ideal 12:1 air/fuel at WOT when cool/cold, but when it warmed up, it ran poorly. Perhaps I will make an update video soon...

Right now were building the frame, body (aluminum), seats (aluminum), and front racing windshield (glass) all to original specs. My guys worked on numerous total 550 rebuilds and are experts in aluminum fabrication. Too many years experience. Even the thickness of the aluminum and the underside of the car is correct.
