In this context I was trying to emphasize my girlfriend speaks Cantonese as a native language. Saying she's Cantonese therefor makes more sense.

Just some nice info about Gigantiform: Yes, it makes your dude an 8/8, but its your dude ONLY. Other enchantments adds on top of that again, so mr. hawk there would be 10/10 with griffin guide + gigantiform. Also, it doesnt matter if you already have an enchantment on a creature and then use gigantiform, the other enchantment still gives +/+ on a base of 8/8
