Right outside doom castle, on the island, you can get a pretty sick amount of experience from the Core monsters out there.

His Maxim damage is INSANE, probably a lot of Power Ups dedicated to him, because even with Dual Blade a Dragon Blade wielding Guy will always do more damage. :D

a true classic and yeah u are gonna destroy the sinistrals at lv 99. fight them at a normal level like in the 30-40 range u will be in for a CHALLENGE.

i hated the Lufia 1 battle system....is there a way you can aim at enemies (when there are more than one)? or does the computer randomly pick the enemy that you hit?

There is, but if they die in the interim by another ally you hit air.

I think the computer always randomly picks which monster you attack when they're grouped up, but if you strategize it's easy to work through the battle system.

I rarely run into those annoying instances where the character swipes at thin air because if you plan ahead you'll be set.

The battle system may be annoying for some but I kind of like that it made you think about what to do next.

i beat this game lvl 75 so yea i beat the game without losing a battle. cuz i lvled up before fighting any other boss after the dark ghost. and plus the 4 sisnistrals were easy!

Love this game so much! People complain about the graphics and that honestly makes no sense to me. This game was made in 1993 and for the time looked daymn good (I still think it has a charm to it).

I like the 2nd game as well, but this game is much more enjoyable in my opinion.

For those who wonder: Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals is the PREQUEL to Lufia and the Fortress of Doom. That's why in Lufia II you play as Maxim. The beginning of Lufia I is supposed to be like the end of Lufia II (although it's different if you actually play Lufia II)

Well i never played the nes games of lufia...but i think lufia 1 is after maxim,selan,guy and arthea(Arthy?XD)defeated Daos, my opinion is that Lufia 2 shows what they did/what happened before the final battle, dunno tho or the producers have mixed 1 with 2 XD

Man thanks a lot for this video, definitaly a classic which I used to own on SNES and it's probly one of the first RPGs I've ever played.

Lufia was a strong game but who's Jerin already I though Arteas was helpin' you in the follow up because he's the only one who survived after 99 years, I still remember how sad it was when Guy died *RIP*

When you beat the game it has a new game+ feature called "Retry". You start over with nothing however you get 4 times more experience from enemies. I think it's 4, I know it's more than double.

Hmmm...before you showed the battle, I would like to see the party's stats (i.e. str, mgr, agl, etc.). Your party is unusually strong, even for level 99.

Yeah, I saw these fights uploaded by another user, and the party was also level 99 but they couldn't hit nearly as hard as I see here or took as nearly much damage.
