My best friend has CP and I'm autistic. I could relate to the 'talk to the person they're with rather than them' thing because people constantly talk to me rather than my friend when we're out together. It's ironic how they assume I couldn't be disabled too.

People like you are to blame, people who would rather bitch and moan than actually bother to fund research. Or worse, people who oppose specific venues of research on ideological grounds. Hello wow i am so amazed that u are so strong at times us people complain about about our little situations or should I say problems we might have....But it is when I see people that have situations like urself when I tell myself how stupid I can be to complain about stuff life faces me through....My best friend is also quadraplegic she had a car accident about yrs ago...she got hurt in c3 and c4...she is my best friends and i would like to help her in any way ..... thanks
Does anyone know what happened to Asali? The website mentioned towards the end of this video mentions that her funding was running out and she was in danger of having to move into a nursing home and give up her education and a lot of her activities. Did any of that happen?
@jasedotcom whenever you get a break in the neck area (c2-c8 ) your considered a quad, anything below the chest is a paraplegic. Even tho she has movement of her arms she might not have feeling, still legally being a quad though
