wow to say the novelty will wear off? thats what everyone eles in the busness hopes the fact of the matter is this. VR is pretty badass this is close to it. It is not a gimmik it is a way to play games thats like saying hey you know the novelty of only having one controller per player is gonna get old.
Saying the novelty will wear off is just plain stupid. The novelty of what? Wouldn't you like to actually cleave someones skull with a cleaving motion of your hand rather than one button press with your thumb? Or bitchslap someone in GTA by actually bitcslapping them with your hand? Stuff like that just won't stop being cool. Immersion is key, for me at least, and this is one huge step in the right direction.

They changed the RTM version of this a little bit, but it looks like it worked out really well for them.
It would have looked SO bad for Nintendo if this didn't work.
