Jared, i'd be interested on another vid taking this further than part 1 or 2.

E.g. settings.

AF-C. Single point? Delay? AF-ON button for focus or shutter? etc etc.

We all have our way of doing it but might be good to do a concise video on it.

I'm usually using AF-C single point with delay off. I then track and get the camera to focus before i begin shooting. With sports I prefer to use the AF-ON to focus and shutter to activate the shot. I'd be interested to see how you do it.

Yay, Nice tip JP, Cricket is same for kids and adults, only that in Pakistan because kids can't handle the heavy bats and hard balls, they use lighter bats with taped tennis balls, cuz they are a lot lighter.

Sadly all the playgrounds in my area have been captured by corrupt government and sold to people, so sports are kinda gone here.

kids play cricket but its not different from adult cricket. most schools teach football, and rugby and hockey during the winter, cricket and tennis and athletics during the summer. would have loved if you took the teddy to the back of the field and kicked it really hard and it landed in front of the camera! that would be an awesome start!
