I notice them using 12cell packs in them. I don't really see the difference. how and why do they use 12 cell packs as Im getting one in about a week and want to clear up what batteries i should be running?
ya i went with the trade for the electric..i LOVE it! so much more power and im gonna get a castle esc pretty soon too..i am so happy with the trade, and yes your right its so clean lol
thank you for the response!! i got the 600 electric i traded my nitro and was the best move. ive always done electric in rc stuff just recently got into helis so my first nitro was a 600 heli, of any type of rc model...seems like u get a lot more power, i have 5000mah 6s zippys pretty much and would like to get more power..stock align motor/esc..im goin to upgrade to the castle creations 100amp maybe my batteries wont get as hot either
okay i hope u can respond quick lol..i have the 600 nitro that i love the limited edition someone wants to trade me for that for their 600 electric not sure of the electronics in it yet though...what is your opinion on that? i like the nitro cuz its heavy and wind is NOT an issue, im not a stick banger but i have done piro flips and such...let me know what you think ex. nitro:grease, motors, nitro, electric:battery cost, crash rate when a battery tacos or messes up in the crash etc.ur info aprec
@hoffbran Well thats a matter of opinion. I myself like electric better than nitro. I really like the power and the fact that electric is so clean. I run Castle Creations Esc's and Neumotors on my heli because the stock electronics are not that great in my opinion. In the 4 years I have been flying I have never took out a lipo in a crash to where it was no good anymore. Fly them both and see what you like more that's a decision only you can make.
@hoffbran In my opinion, electric is better. With the right set-up, electric will be more powerful than nitro. Electric is also much cleaner, quieter, and can be flown almost anywhere. Plus, electric systems require much less field equipment!
Quick question. How hot does the esc get on the 6 cell setup?I wanna run a Scorpion 4020-1100KV motor with the CC 85HV esc and a 6 cell Flightmax 30C 5000mAh lipo,do you think the esc will get hot and fail on me?

@flyinhigh450 My ESC would get from 100-120 degrees on a very hot day but I am running a Neu motor which in my experience they are more efficient and pull less amps than scorpions do but I still think you should be fine. It also depends how hard you are going to fly it.
So is 100-120F good? The reason im asking is I was told I can't run this esc with a 6 cell lipo.Ive been flying for 2 years 3 months now and not sure how I would class my flying but your more than welcome to click my name and check out one of my videos.
Nice Flying Manuel, ive just got in to helis and want to do some 3D eventualy, ive got a 450 that ive crashed about a dozen times trying tricks and agressive flying and now ive crashed my 600 for the first time and its hurts seeing it torn apart. Did you crash alot before being able to fly like you do? Or im just no good at it!
@apiafo Yes I have crashed alot of times. The first thing to do is learn all your upright hovering orientations and then go to forward flight, inverted hovering orientations, inverted flight then 3d. Take your time and that will help minimize crashes a little.
I often get bored half way through watching a 3D flight such as this, but not this one.this flight kept me interested right till the auto rotaation. Very nice flying, and very smooth transistions. How many years have you been flying, and how much time do you spend on the simulator? Great post, now to check out some of your posts. Thanks.
Awesome flight! What's the C rating of the pack? With new lipo technology it's pretty exciting. I bought a 30c last month for my 600esp. This month I bought the new 6s 45c 5000. E helis Rock! Very nice.
impressive flying, but the best part about the vid is the landing

8S would be better with that motor I feel, just use a lower pinion.

is this better than the nitro? and is it more powerful ? how many lipos does it use?
wasimwazir 1 year ago
@wasimwazir Yes it has more power than a nitro. It uses 6500mah 6s lipo pack. Or you can also run a 5000mah 6s pack.

Very good, excellent performance, which the RPM of the main blades?
Pcarp99 2 years ago
Thanks the rpm is 2400HS
buildem336 2 years ago
@buildem336
Is it safety to run the blades at such RPM?? I`ve read somewhere that RPM for 600`s blades of more than 2300 is to dangerous...
