Aren't sammies just so fun!!!??? My two used to do this every time I got on the phone! Just like two naughty little toddlers. My male just died this Xmas sudden death while on a walk. My female is doing well but I so miss them frolicking like this. Thank you so much for sharing-makes me happy to watch!

thank you for getting back to me so quickly . I couldnt bring myself to get another sammy, cause i didn't want to feel another one would be taking her place just her space. But it was too soon i have her pictures around my house along with all the other animals in or out of my life
@MrGuitarboy21 Mine never quite got to the point of overheating yet, but when my hubby and I were in Dallas a couple of weeks ago the weather was pretty warm (nowhere near hot though) and our sammy was just panting and trying to hide in the shade.
This really reminds me of my grandmas and grandpas samoyed, Bolli. He was really a good companion who gave me good opinions, actually, great opinions, about this breed. He was kind to everyone, greated everyone with a bark and a wagging tail, wanted to be cuddled with... He was so gentle, even though he had hip-problems, he let my 2 year old little brother lay down at his tummy (you know the way when they lay down and it looks like a sofa). I babysat him and he won my heart, R.I.P Bolli... <3
I had a samoyed and watching yours made me smile remembering my sweet one. yes Samoyed are the best dogs ever, playful, loyal, funny, cute, sweet and most of of stubborn... love all of those quality, advice to all Samoyed owners, take loads of videos and pictures and treasure your time with them, they are truly worth it.
@K3n4ovs I agree with all of your observations about the Samoyed breed. Maya is my 4 year old Sammy and she is the love of my life. I know all dog owners think their breed is the all-around best one to have and I've had lots of dogs while growing up. However, having a "sammy" is very special. Your advice to take lots of pictures and make the most of the time we have with our best friends is well-taken.

I am so sorry you lost your dog. I lost my heart dog, last year, and still cry. I know you have to be still actively grieving.
