Probably my favorite Dolly song .....but I like the second, revamped version better.  It had a more rock feel to it ...with a stronger horn section.

Wow. I have this album and didn't even realize the song was totally different from the way I learned it! I learned the pop version. I just checked mine and it is this version of the song with the open up LP cover.

This version is, IMO, superior to the better known, later version. I bought HERE YOU COME AGAIN shortly after it came out, and thus had the this version. When RCA reissued HERE YOU COME AGAIN on CD, they should have included this version as a bonus track.

There were actually three releases of this LP. 1.) orginal with this version of TDD 2.) re-release w/ Zella Lehr's inspired version of TDD 3.) Lp cover does NO open up and photography is different on the back cover! I own all three!
