get the diamond 2, IMO if you want something sleek, future proof, lag free, with wifi AND can fully flaunt all the features of a phone, this one is for you.

Its larger pixel density means the screen appears crisper

lol hmm the BEST alternative right now in my opinion (for someone like you who likes applications and a very friendly interface) would be the iphone, and you get a free update to 3.0 this fall which includes most of the stuff the iphone was missing in the first place.

If you want superior music quality, then you'll have to wait for the idou.

In my opinion though the diamond2 is WAY overpriced. Check out the HTC g1 and g2 also!

Wow HTC, totally awesome. Took HTC like a year to bring out a second version of the phone and guess what? 1 year of listening to what users critizised and theonly thing they come up with is a slightly changed Touch flow, extendable memory and a battery that got 50% more power...

50%...so now the phone will run out of battery after 1,5 days...awesome HTC!

Okay, the design changed a bit, but that wasnt necessary in my opinion...
