On that last highlight - the Stanford Band touchdown - it was the last game of the 2001. What they don't show you is that John Carney (normally a solid kicker) shanked the extra point and they still lost. Basically until this year they had an awful history - as good as the Dome Patrol was, and it was great, they never won a single playoff game with them.

Also minor note - several of the highlights on were played multiple times. Come on, the Aints have been bad for years - but not that bad

this is interesting to see how defense in general has changed over the years. half of those plays would be personal fouls these days. linebackers arent as dominant anymore because you cant hit people like you used to, most notably how rules get created for quarterbacks like tom brady. this league is offensively oriented now and its takes a lot of intensity away from defense powered teams. look how the ravens are doing worse this year, they are all afraid to hit anyone. a shame, really.
