@robinhood48 New developments, as this Karl may, finish stripping 2 rooms and a hallway by tomorrow, to get the job rolling my nephew is, getting the Help of 2 Poles so there will 3 of them lining rooms etc 1 Pole does not speak one word of English my Nephew has told me, and works through the other Mercedes Playing up AGAIN rear passenger door is deadlocked, will not open either from inside or out manually or respond to the Key Fob Fuck Mercedes ! Phoned them up , car>garage
@robinhood48 Hmmmmm ! It will not open manually either,,, so that rules out a Key fob battery, problem, at least in Scots Logic,,
Kraut engineering in Mercedes I have shit better, how can a car 3 years old 32,000 miles only have a radiator that leaked at joints, go through headlamps have computer False alerts from Low oil, to seat belts not fastened, to parking lamps that have failed But Not,
Just a thought in passing. Check that the child-proof lock on the rear door actually operates as per settings. A faulty child lock will affect the main lock.
But in 50 years people will surround my Mercedes and they will say "Look at this masterpiece of engineering- it has a real engine fired with real gasoline, it has original SAP computer programmes for engine and driving management, it has rubber tyres and it still has a star on the hood! " This will happen, be sure, and people then will envy our cars and they will not know what a wonderful life we had!
Driving a Jaguar from Norway to Sicily, this is something like sailing around the world in single handed boat. If you survive you are a man, an expert, a driver par excellence!
Driving a Merc from here to Baghdad- that´s nothing, some hundred people do that every day.
But if you tell your friends you brought a Jag from Frankfurt to Munich, that´s a story for sure!
Any joy with the door lock on the Mercedes? Do they have a central control for the door locks, which has to be 'cycled' a certain number of times in order to synchronise them? Not saying that's the problem, I am just being nosy / curious. Any measurable progress on the interior decorating?
The newer Mercs have such an installation. If you forget to shut the door the car tells you that the door is open. People who are too stupid to close a door properly are told in German, Spanish, French or English. The car even tells you which door is open so you must not move your head.
Newest invention: the car stops automatically if you commit a drivers error.
In future I will send my car to work and stay at home.
Nobody would believe them, when they tell what you have done with them.
Warden in such an institution could be interesting. Just an idea, because the best sex you can have you have with people you don´t respect. Know what I mean?
There is no free sex with people you respect.
De Sade certainly did not respect Justine, but both had big fun!
Know full well what you mean 'jelly-bean'. However, looking into the 'dead eyes' of the inmates, I think would have a negative impact even on a Viagra fueled blitz! De Sade and Justine, are not exactly lurking in the nearest coffee house, shouting, 'let the good times roll!' Mental Institutions are a constant reminder of just how thin the veneer of civilisation and sanity actually is,and also how far we can fall within the confines of our own minds. When is sex ever 'free?' .
@arriviste2020 No luck yet with the Merc but I got a reasonable possible cause, by a Non Merc mechanic as the door button does move up or down Not a solenoid problem, but suggests its a rod that is attached to solenoid has come adrift.
He told me off his own 2010 Merc diesel motha big Un, as he uses a Ford focuss to run around in he put the Merc in garage for winter took out the battery for trickle charging etc put it back last week and the Computer came up with 90,000 miles
@keirfree Cont ! phoned up Edinburgh Merc dealer and asked how to reset !! he was told that the display unit would have to be removed etc cost £700, So he disconnected again reconnected and display returned to original reading,
Merc Dealers !! Wankers German Engineering Shit ! like their Money control policy
@keirfree Is the Name of your local Merc dealer Henry Morgan? Are you shure, that the guy was not telling nonsens, because the garage can adjust the miles by just connecting the car to the service computer. But you must tell them a really, realy good story to make them belive that somethings is wrong with the miles on the counter. I think the garage can also read out of the boardcomputer what realy happens with the car. The whole story sounds a litle bit unkosher.
@Rick2010100 You dont get it do you !! The Merc dealer was trying his luck, to screw a customer and Believe as I have found out they are Wankers they wanted £26 off me to replace 2 parking lamps, ( real cost >> .49 p + vat from a a car parts shop, tried to charge me £72 extra for oil on my last service, and if you do not know, any better are you going to argue over what they tell you ?
That is a real pain with your Merc. If you are not in a rush and will be checking it out yourself, there are a couple of things which would make it easier for you should you choose to do so. It's a crap job even if it's just an op rod that has come adrift. Having said that, there are dam few tasks on any modern car which are simple to perform.
@arriviste2020 Karl,,, this Oldish guy turned up 8 am sharp brought in his own steam generator made from Calor Gas bottle, stripped this painted woodchip off, 2 bedrooms and a long hallway was gone by 1pm ,,, worth every penny of his cost £90, he was a Clay miner before he turned to this line, in 30 mins my nephew and 2 poles arrive to
bluter the preperation,,,, ps The Karl stripped the paper so good, not even a score mark on plaster, told me not to bother lining before painting
Possible to remove the interior trim panel and look? This asshole mech should be able to use a little screw driver, loosen the lower side of the panel, push it up and look!!!
Seems you will have to write a letter to Sindelfingen or execute this crap car and buy a new one!
'Tricky Ricky', you might as well just stick to using English as your primary social dialogue. That German looks awfully difficult to use in explanations.
Actually, if one lowers the window, wedges the window (plastic / rubber wedgies) then using a mag-light, (very bright beam) one can see the rods and whether they are all in situ.I don't know about MB, but some are held in place with a plastic 'acorn', some use the rod as a spring clip, some use an 'E' lock. No matter, it's still a crap job timewise, as against the objective.Do MB use the steel insert panel in the door, commonly known as an anti-intrusion device?
I hope I understood your explanation although it touched the limits of my English. In my view the interior panel has to be removed, then you see all the mess. Correct, they still have this device but you can easily remove it using a small screw driver.
I did this often on my old Opel Rekord, have tightened the rods now with a wire.
My apologies, I should not have gone into 'auto' mode with the explanation. It stems from giving free instruction on an auto repair site on the web, and of course, operating my own repair shop.Having one's own workshop gives one free-rein to invent 'special' tools to reduce the time taken to effect repairs on MB, Jaguar, etc ESPECIALLY door locks, panels, window lift elect motors and trim.
Being a poor lad during the seasons of my youth, I had to repair my cars myself, with tools and spare parts I found on junk yard. Sometimes I got something from my GIs, mostly tyres and spark plugs, but mostly I had to fix my crap all alone.
Today I´m a simple farmer who tries to repair his cars in his free time, so I`m condemned to stay away from high- tech repairs. There is one thing I hate- electricity!
How very kind. I can identify with the 'poor' part. Lot's of people stay away from the electrical side, can't fault you for that. I spent a lot of time in salvage / junk yards, getting electrical harness connectors, then making Master test leads for the car systems. So much easier just to plug a lead into a window motor feed, press switch,.ok..not ok.? Discovering that Chrysler supplied parts to Jaguar! Tail light bulbs made in the U.S. set fault codes, those from Hungary did not!

Missed that. Mercedes, like virtually every other manufacturer,(autos) uses as cheap a system as possible to operate door latches / handles etc. Sometimes the actuating rods are better quality than the lock assy housing. VW /Skoda, use steel cable and pulleys, in their 'electric' window lifts.Talk bout being old.
@arriviste2020 A friend of me had a A.C. Cobra and i have also driven this car a vew times. The first 20 km are funny, but than it turns into pain. The sitting position alone is a joke, you have to sit there with the legs diagonally from you sitting position to reach the pedals witch are just 3 cm side by side. The steering wheel and clutch pedal realy spares you the gym.
@keirfree Sounds like a activated child protection, because you can program that with the key by click-codes. Before taking the car to the garage press both buttons (lock + unlock) for a vew seconds to reset any running program. In the car manual is also a section about the key clik-codes and functions.
@robinhood48 Also das die Geisterfahrer Insel böse verschulded ist habe ich ja schon gehört, aber wie pleite die wirklich sind habe ich erst heute einer Grafik im Spiegel entnommen.
Might have some info for you shortly via a colleague whom is into MB. Apparently, they do actually have a lot of door lock problems, and not just the latest versions! Which surprised me.
Ok, if you plan on keeping the MB you are going to have to play at being a dealer. Which is not good. if you undertook to remove the offending door lock assy, you would be in for a rough time. The best that you are going to be able to accomplish, is to actually nail the fault then start trolling for parts prices, then labour prices. I was correct originally, their locks are made with cheap crap, although MB doesn't think so. I have been advised to inform you to go online.
On the U.S. side and join one of two groups. (a) "Benz World" or (b)'MB World. It is possible to strip the locks and repair the minute spring inside as a cost savings. But I do not honestly think that you will be able to walk into Halfords and purchase the spring. It would appear that expediency dictates change out one for one. Will still pursue the subject and hope for better news.
@arriviste2020 The newer car have become verry complicated. Previously they educated Car-mechanics in the German Dual practice eductaion system. Now they skill more Mechatronican (electronic and IT included) than simple screwer-boys. With all the sensor´s, cablels and boardcomputer its now nearly impossible for a amateur to fix his car. Even if the car tells you how much pressure is in the tires, a tire change can become difficult.
Formerly, in the good old times you needed an instruction manua just to understand air condition and how to open the hood. Today the manual contains 250 pages and 200 times the sentence "call our service hotline"
In case of Mercedes Benz a letter to Stuttgart/ Sindelfingen can have miraculous effect!
@robinhood48 Today i phoned with a old friend who has a car garage and dealership. Below the line i asket him what can be the reason for a break down on a door locking at a W204. He said, that could be plenty of reasons. Just a lose cable at the controll unit, a underpressure in the pneumatic, a rod has jumped out of their holder by a hard bumper, etc. He said the best is to bring the car to a Merc garage and ask for a quotation without giving a repair order and than see and decide.
@robinhood48 Ca. 12 years ago i have been in Warsaw and parked my car on the hotel parking lot with guards, yet they have broken up my car and tried to steal them, but without success. The doorlock was damaged and also the steering wheel lock was scrap. But MB in Warsaw was verry friendly, they gave me immediately a courtesy vehicles, reapaired the damage and than also drove my car within 2 days back to Berlin to exchange them with the courtesy vehicles - without any extra costs.
@robinhood48 For 20 hrs labour, they asked for 170 £ s I gave them 200 £s their work was near perfect they stopped only for 2 cups of tea I threw in the Sandwiches, one Polish lad could not speak a word of English and missed his 2 sons highly, the other English was excellent a mechanic to trade having served as Conscript Soldier servicing russian Tanks for the Polish Army, which he hated the Army that is,
My parents in law employed a Polish guy between 1941 and 1945. His name was Marek and he was a so called forced labourer. He did the farm work along with the German farm hand while my father in law was in Russia. He was the best hand they ever had.
After war he was DP, had to go back to Poland. He wrote some letters in Polish but since 1950 he disappeared or was forbidden to write.
No contact to class enemy allowed beyond the Iron curtain!
@robinhood48 My grandfather also had 2 of them. One was gone home after WW2 and the other "Kurt" stayed and and worked his whole life for my grandfather on his manor. I only knew him from early ages, but he was a fantastic friendly guy and a work maniac. My Grandfather was died and my father called some people to demolish a old building. Kurt was not asked, because he was retired and ca. 70 y.o., but he also appeared to the job without asking for money, but for some Schnapps.
@robinhood48 I remeber this verry well, because it has been the first time, where i could play with a XL Electrohammer and enjoyed it at the age of 11 or 12 and Kurt advised me to use the tool.
@pablocaillaux :/ So even when the guy begins the video with saying its his OPINION, you are still so arrogant, that you feel you need to correct him on his OPINION?
Nobody cares about your opinion, if you want to make a video about a leopard 2, be my guest, just dont be an asshole. WHOOPS, too late...
this video fails to offers to include the service history of that overpriced, underpowered piece of shit of a tank called an M1 Abrams.
The Challenger has taken no irreparable casualties to the enemy. The only thing that has ever killed a T-90 is another Russian tank. And the Leopard 2 has never taken a combat casualty. The type 90 has yet to prove itself. And you did a good job on the placement of the LECLERC. The Abrams has taken so many casualtie, its not even funny. (mostly to soviet built
abrahams top????? look at the amount deystroyed in Iraq,,,, but then anything yankee has to be the best and biggest,,, dont believe me just ask them,,,,
@robinhood48 In manu noster plumbium aurum fiebat.
Spanien 5,4 % statt 6,97 %.
The M1 only is No 1 when connsidering only firepower with uranium ammunition and armor.the German Leopard has more firepower since mounting the new 120mm/L55 (btw M1 uses German Rheinmetall 120mm/L44 and not 105mm which was the M1A1).Overall performance of Leopard is way beyond M1Abrams cause of far better mix of protection, firepower, purchase, maintencane and upgrade abilitys who are pretty much inexistent for M1A2.M1A2 has exceeded its lifetime > no more psareparts > no new engines produced etc.
@arriviste2020 well.. yes,I know...what I wanted to say is that the M1A2 has only more firepower than a Leo 2 with the new 120mm/L55 if he uses radioactive ammunition..
Well, according to what I've researched on the Abrams, It has up to 1300 mm of dynamic armor: one of the newer versions, the M1A1HA (could not find specs for the M1A2 ) Has armor specs as follows: Hull - 600 mm vs APFSDS, 700 mm vs HEAT, Turret - 800 mm vs APFSDS, 1300 mm vs HEAT
As well as multiple defense and countermeasure systems. It can hit speeds up to 65kmh or higher.
This is just information, and I'm not giving any opinion whatsoever.
@TraceSkirata no harm done (: . I serve in the german army but not in the tank corps so I cant confirm this information 100%. But they told me the Leo 2 A6 and the Abram has nearly everything i common about the armor and its not a surprise to me because both of them are based on a cooperation I guess it was called project 70. It fails but both tanks are still based on it. Most people think the gasturbine is the key but I think its point why it not should be on top its an raw point.
@Revan817 Ich habe nicht direkt unter den Panzer Jungs gedient, aber war als Offizier in deren Verwaltung als Jurist und verließ die BW im Rang eines OLt. (1. Dt./NL Korps in Münster).
@arriviste2020 You missed the point about the manufacturers warranty, because KMW knews exactly what kind of quality they produce and delivere. They belive on their quality level and have theirfore no problems to sold their products with extrem warranty contracts in addition to the hardware.
BTW it is banana if you test under combat or simulated combat environment - the result is decisive. And the results for the Leo are verry good as the Saudis have found out in their last test.
@keirfree In Germany the hunter says: If the hare had not just shit, he would not be catcht by the fox. BTW they had bought at least Abrahams before the Challys.
@keirfree *lol* Verry entertaining, because every mayor bigger defence project in GB has been cancelled. Even the F35 "Ligthning" together with the US - also as future carrier planes versioen for the actually new build GB carrier is actually BLOWN OFF. So please donte tell me any old new´s from the 90´s.
@Rick2010100 Yes we are, canceling many Military Aims, Why ?? because, its Time you Fucking Cowards and Cowboys of Nato,, got your First Lesson since 1945
Both the USA and the UK , has Got tired of Holding your Fucking Hand, when Push comes to Shove,,
Germany,, the Parasite, since 1948,, living of the, Goodness of Brit/ USA kindheartedness , Go join your , Sister Whores in Meltdown the French
@arriviste2020 Yup, Typical Kraut, they Steal Ideas and Science from others, then claim it to be theirs,,
Let them Build a McLaren,,,,,,,car or a F1 machine, or a car that looks and performs as well as the Jaguar,,,,,, or a 4x4 that can match a Range Rover
@keirfree BTW, just 3 months ago, i told you that BMW at 51.50 would be totaly underrated. If you bought their shares, you would have made ca. 12 % within 3 months conservatively. I had made it, but also with a lever and derivates over RBS and UBS. *g*
@keirfree Look at the US and your Military - everything only financded by credid and now going down the drain.(Carrier without planes, etc. , etc.). I give you a TIP imaginate the years 2015-2020 and you know whats going on and would be go on. Litle Britain will be there only a fart on the global map. Every high has its Zenith and the British Zenith is long gone and a thingh of the past.
In Germany we usually say "The last turns the light off... - feel free to interpretate it further....
@Rick2010100 You have No Future !! Yet you still believe,,,, that you can compete, with the Manufacturing Capability of China, or the brains of the Billions of Indians, or you have the Energy resources of Russia or Brazil,,,,!!
Wake up ,,,,,, your Days of Dolphin Hugging are over,, within 10 years, you will be able to Hug Latvia as an Equal,,, No More No Less
@keirfree Verry funny and entertainning statement - it realy made my day. I really hope, that the Brick states will develope further and in the future, because we want to sell our products to them and a weak € is also supporting this. So the "guys" who wants to see the € down and on this worked for it, have done us a favour. Muahh PSML
@couteau86 Range rover owned by Indians , as is Jaguar But it still keeps winning Intl Car of the year for last 5 years and wins 23 Intl Awards OH, We sold today 10% Thames water to Chinese State Govt, raising Billions for reinvestment, also China is to Select London for trading its Currency ! WHY ? i hear you say ! because The Brits are very Good at making money from other people,s money.
The Krauts !! ? very good at Welding, Shit at Finance,
Again a idiot (the Saudi) who does not notice, that the Leopard 2 A7+ is a special version for the URBAN WARFARE??? And belive what you want, for the urban warfare a Leo2 A7+ is 1000 times more suitable ...
And where is the problem??? Germany finaly is the number 1 economy power in Europe and 1000 other things who i have not the mood to wrote it ...
@arriviste2020 If i pay the right money, i can find under any stone a guy who wants to do the crazyest things. The emphasis in this case must be on " a combat experienced tank crew" and not the standart saudi soldier. With this comparison prerequisites also a race driver in a Trabi would smoke a standart Saudi car driver in a 911 in a drag race, because he is unable to find/shift the gears in a propper way.
@arriviste2020 The standart 911 has a manual gear shift. Even the PDK version manualy shiftes in prinzipal - but by a button click the nexte gear is shifted.
I have a standart 2010 911 Turbo with a midifyed chip (the pressure in the turbo is higher from 1.6 to 1.9) now the car has ca. 620 BHP and a guy from Saudia Arabia offered me now 50.000 € more than i have payed for the new car. Sounds like a nice deal, but the waiting for a new one is ca. 6 month and i payd only 2K for the chip tuning.
@couteau86 Nope Tata is Indian, however within the Tata Group there will be a TATA UK Ltd. which means that for what is designed, built, sold, etc will be British, as is the same with Coca Cola Gmbh
@couteau86 I see your still unable to comprehend, other than the most basic of the English language,, corporate structures exports imports within varying conglomerates,is beyond your Ken
@robinhood48 You are indeed correct, after a week of back breaking, helping my Nephew a Joiner to trade, strip back, wood chip paper from the kitchen and my ensuite toilet, with all that bending on knees or leaping on ladders, filling in plaster defects, then fit coving, paper lines the walls, then paint same, I was in Back, hell as well as Knee Hades, but woke up this morning, not a joint in pain, and marched out my Shitty car, Like the Song ! Feelin Good ! went of for material
@arriviste2020 No they are modern, plasterboard, and the wood chip was pasted, directly on the Gyproc, make it to wet, the plasterboard fails make it to dry,, then its like scraping money of a Kraut takes for ever,,,,, it needs a gentle soaking leave it 3 hours soak again leave 2 hours then apply the steam stripper plate.
How ever I got a old retired miner that does it for £1;20 /sqre m he arrives on Wed I, hope,, name's Karl from Fyfe so he is either a Old Pole or Kraut.
@arriviste2020 Yea we have the same green and grey, but true about the Priming first,, this block i live in was destroyed by a fire 10 years ago, so the refurbishment, done on the cheap by insurance Co before I bought,,,,, but I could have painted over, but I am replacing,
boiler to a Combi boiler with a better efficiency rating, this means No gravity feed but Hot water pumped under 1.5 Bar pressure meaning expect leaks at joints under floor
@keirfree Cont 18 mm thick Maple wood,, hallway, 2 bedrooms and a Lounge, hey its nice to be Nice to Family I am paying £15/ hour for his time,
it was his father we cremated, last Friday, he went out to Mack the Knife, and Rawhide,,I thought was rather funny as he would have, Service was non Religious, delivered by a Humanist lol £140 for 15 mins exact the timing is the City s as it their crematorium,,much the same as Garbage collections,
@arriviste2020 when its finished I can email you a Pic of the flooring,, the majority of the damage to the block was due to water from Fire hoses as the fire started in the roofing eves, and cascaded down, the owners decamped for 14 months during renewals, no this nephew wants the money, he has a wife and young daughter, and like most self employed tradesman feeling the pinch,, he will this friday lay off 2 other joiners, and in addition when he was only 16 23 years ago,
@arriviste2020 Cont he would come to London for holidays at my home, and where possible I would take him on site with me, his first exposure, was when I contacted a Job with British Gas H Q old Holborn for the first Fibre optic Data backbone , he sat and watched me negotiate, He was described as a Youth in Training, to my neighbours he would strip paint from Victorian woodwork, ie doors, and facias using a Hot air gun, his first job netted him 170 £ and that was in 1990
@robinhood48 Mercs are shitty cars for carrying building material, i could not get a 3 Metre x 127 MM length of decorative coving, within so I drove illegally with 1 metre projecting from from window, do not buy a Merc if you have Work to do,
I try to translate. Your poor nephew, a joiner, believed your false promises to make a testament in his favour and is now working hard (and unpaid, of course!) to decorate your apartment, while you are messing around in all Do- It- Yourself stores to get material as cheap as possible, right.
They offered you to deliver all material for just one Pound, but Mister McKeirfree was too chintzy to agree, right again?
Why did you not use a saw so you had two 1.50m covings?
Back up a little bit there Sir. I was guilty of letting circumstance dictate train of thought, which is never a wise thing to do. Feel free to berate my ignorance at your leisure. As always you are welcome to utilise any comment which you see fit and which will perform the duty which you select.
I tried to express my admiration for your wonderful English and your command of language as well. I did so without any ulterior motive being aware that I never will be able to compete with you in this regard.
It is a fascinating experience for me that I have to address myself to an US- citizen to satisfy my desire to read some sentences in adorable English instead of receiving this privilege from a British gentleman.

My car tells me how much kilometres I may drive until next service, it warns me when I´m too fast, it begins to cry when tyre pressure is too low...
But when I ask it where can I have good sex tonight- answer is FN!!

Of course you are right, as always.

Right so!

What about sex with inmates of a funny farm?
Nobody would believe them, when they tell what you have done with them.
Warden in such an institution could be interesting. Just an idea, because the best sex you can have you have with people you don´t respect. Know what I mean?
There is no free sex with people you respect.
De Sade certainly did not respect Justine, but both had big fun!
robinhood48 2 days ago
@robinhood48

Rick2010100 1 day ago

Actually, if one lowers the window, wedges the window (plastic / rubber wedgies) then using a mag-light, (very bright beam) one can see the rods and whether they are all in situ.I don't know about MB, but some are held in place with a plastic 'acorn', some use the rod as a spring clip, some use an 'E' lock. No matter, it's still a crap job timewise, as against the objective.Do MB use the steel insert panel in the door, commonly known as an anti-intrusion device?
arriviste2020 1 day ago
@arriviste2020

I have been advised to inform you to go online.
arriviste2020 1 day ago
@keirfree
On the U.S. side and join one of two groups.

Rick2010100 1 day ago

@robinhood48 Today i phoned with a old friend who has a car garage and dealership. Below the line i asket him what can be the reason for a break down on a door locking at a W204. He said, that could be plenty of reasons. Just a lose cable at the controll unit, a underpressure in the pneumatic, a rod has jumped out of their holder by a hard bumper, etc. He said the best is to bring the car to a Merc garage and ask for a quotation without giving a repair order and than see and decide.

Revan817 2 weeks ago
@Revan817
TraceSkirata 2 weeks ago
@TraceSkirata no harm done (: . I serve in the german army but not in the tank corps so I cant confirm this information 100%. But they told me the Leo 2 A6 and the Abram has nearly everything i common about the armor and its not a surprise to me because both of them are based on a cooperation I guess it was called project 70. It fails but both tanks are still based on it. Most people think the gasturbine is the key but I think its point why it not should be on top its an raw point.

@keirfree Verry funny and entertainning statement - it realy made my day. I really hope, that the Brick states will develope further and in the future, because we want to sell our products to them and a weak € is also supporting this. So the "guys" who wants to see the € down and on this worked for it, have done us a favour. Muahh PSML

Carefully selected crap rhetoric.
Wonderful sentence.

@arriviste2020 when its finished I can email you a Pic of the flooring,, the majority of the damage to the block was due to water from Fire hoses as the fire started in the roofing eves, and cascaded down, the owners decamped for 14 months during renewals, no this nephew wants the money, he has a wife and young daughter, and like most self employed tradesman feeling the pinch,, he will this friday lay off 2 other joiners, and in addition when he was only 16 23 years ago,
keirfree 4 days ago
@arriviste2020 Cont he would come to London for holidays at my home, and where possible I would take him on site with me, his first exposure, was when I contacted a Job with British Gas H Q old Holborn for the first Fibre optic Data backbone , he sat and watched me negotiate, He was described as a Youth in Training, to my neighbours he would strip paint from Victorian woodwork, ie doors, and facias using a Hot air gun, his first job netted him 170 £ and that was in 1990

@robinhood48 Mercs are shitty cars for carrying building material, i could not get a 3 Metre x 127 MM length of decorative coving, within so I drove illegally with 1 metre projecting from from window, do not buy a Merc if you have Work to do,
Mercs ok for krauts that never work seriously

@keirfree
My ass.

Sir.
