These Acer monitors 'are' 'just' ok, for the price and construction point of view. I did buy my first one a bit ago, 22 inc, and I got excited because I could mounted on a bracket that spin 360° I like to use it as portrait, but I got surprised, because once you rotate the image, the angle view got messed up :( Having a 22 or 23 inch monitor set like portrait, equals to have two laptop monitors, one on top of each other :) and you won't need to scroll up and down that much! :D

i wanted to buy acer last year, it was s 22' full hd 16:9 ratio....but i'm glad i havent, max. vert. refresh was 60hz, so i've tested it out, after a minute, my eyes hurt...then i postponed monitor buy thing for a year, now i got an samsung syncmaster P2350, much much better monitor than acer i've testing out.....

my moniter says its max res is 1440x900 but i can run it at 1792x1344 whats up with that?

I currently have the Acer monitor you reviewed. I didn't get a deal on it but, is defiantly brighter then my HP laptop, which looks bright compared to our other laptops. I like it. It makes a regular image extraordinary.
