  • Just been there. Place is closed now, building was torn down..

Too bad, location was nice, not too far from downtown Tokyo by bike and close to Futago Tamagawa where one can potentially play real tennis afterwards.

    Hopefully I'll find another one

  • @Balmazar So sad to hear that :( in downtown Tokyo I often went to an Auto Tennis in Shin Mejiro Dori, near Waseda University. GPS coordinates are 35.711217, 139.721114

  • what racquet are you using?

  • tennis for people without partners.... hmmm.. LOL

  • you look so restless when you hit those forehands. Why? Just relax you don't generate any power with those restlessness. I myself am tired watching you hitting those restless forehands.

  • nice backhand faggot

  • 300 yen? how much is that american money

  • like 3, maybe 4 bucks.

  • 100 yen is $1.10

  • it's just a ball machine that's all

  • Yes, but:

    1. It's very cheap

    2. You don't have to pick up balls as they are automatically collected by the machine if you get them over the net

    3. It's very useful if you are a tennis maniac foreigner in Tokyo and you want to hit some balls while on holiday not having anyone to play with :)

I played there every day since I found the place...thanks to maidenhawaii :)

  • I found it! Thank you, maybe tomorrow or the day after i'll go play there.

  • hi! I'm in tokyo right now in the nihonbashi zone. Could you tell me the exact address of the auto tennis in todoroki setagaya or some direction to get there like metro stop etc. Please? Thank you very much!

  • 東京都世田谷区等々力8丁目15

    or

    8-15 Todoroki, Stegaya-ku, Tokyo

it's like 10min walking distance from Todoroki Station (Tokyu Oimachi Line).

    Good luck.

  • way toooo much footwork

  • where in tokyo? downtown どこ?

  • It's in Todoroki, Setagaya. Closed on Mondays.

  • Argh...this is exactly what I was looking for when I was in Tokyo this August! I had seen this places in Prince of Tennis anime and was wondering if they really existed! Now I know they actually exist and they are cheap too! Pity I didn't manage to find them in Tokyo :( there are more than one? Where, in Tokyo?

  • nice! very cheap too. i would love to visit it one day. do you have to be a member to get in? or its open to public?

  • yeah, it's open to anyone. you just buy some tokens that go into the machine.
