@MrVabbe I got an X-Fi2 last year. Sound & video quality is excellent and the device is good value compared with iPod... BUT the touchscreen isn't that great cos it's resistive, not capacitative. You have to press pretty hard sometimes, especially if you lock the screen to save battery - you have to drag an icon to get back to the main screen and it can take several attempts to make it react. Also the PC software for it is poor & there's no manual - you have to figure it all out yourself.

@MrVabbe Thanks MrVabbe. It's interesting to know the latest firmware makes the touchscreen work better (I've read this somewhere else too). I'm not upgrading my firmware at the moment because you have to re-load music & playlists, which would take quite a while. But I'm using my fingernail more, instead of the fingertip, & it seems more responsive that way - it doesn't scratch the screen & you get less oily marks on it. PS: Your English is much better than my Italian!

@MrAndrewjs : Yes, a shitty resistive touch screen. The others players I compared it with in this video (Samsung P3/M1, Cowon S9) have a capacitive touch screen ;)

@faclessfabian Yes, you can change the background. I've seen them do it in other X-Fi 2 reviews, and that's a feature that's in almost all Creative players. :)

Then I bought the Ipod Touch and a Zune HD a couple of weeks later...and I sold the Zune because I preferred the Ipod, however I still love Creative and I'm considering buying another one of their products.

2. Yes you can. But the X-Fi 2 has to rebuild the library everytime you power on or insert a microSD card. That may take much time. Please watch video 2/2

@tarikay93 : No. This DAP is very bad as you can see in my review (link in the video description). It would not be better with wifi. Don't buy this piece of crap and get a Sony, Samsung or Cowon DAP instead.

@gellibiek : No. I tested it with a Samsung and Nokia AV out cable and that did not work. To be sure it would work you are obliged to buy the official Creative cable...

@baby13threligion Simply Apps, But Zen only has 3 Apps but there is a Community on the net call AnythingbutIpod who create Great games and other apps to use so they are doing what creative should be doing. and they quality of Zen games are good as well very Disappointing that Zen are TOO Lazy to create Apps for The Consumer :\
