don't mind the ewoks blinking. Y add the whole " Nooo!" Thing. Agree w the guy being interviewed no use at all for this. Just nitpicking and adding extra things. If its not broken dont fix it. I used to think ppl exaggerated but after seeing this clip I agree and think George is a perfectionist. He needs to calm that down a bit. The added CGI jabba scene was also utter crap!!!

@Discern4 Electricity. But do you know what electrocution means? It's almost always misused by the populace. Electrocution means electric shock resulting in death. So if someone's electrocuted, they're dead. Luke isn't dead (technically or otherwise) while he's being shocked, nor does he die later as a result. He wasn't electrocuted. And no, don't even say I'm getting into semantics because, again, electrocution means electric shock resulting in death. I didn't make the word so don't blame me.

Theres something else not said here...the emperor obviously didn't think vader would betray him...this is a man who can even read peoples minds...if vader is standing there saying no...the emperor surely would have felt vaders intentions if not even heard them and immediately turned to take out vader too. Rebellion destroyed, sad ending, main character dead, NO you knew he was going to save his son. And now it doesn't matter at all if he says NO because we've seen these movies it's not something new to us we know how it ends so I am completely fine with the change and you guys need to stop bitching like he ruined the whole freaking movie!

@panthersfan1997 This movie is from 1983, not the 70's. And no, people did NOT know what was going to happen, when they watched it for the first time in a darkened theatre. And even with repeated viewings, even when you know what will happen, there is such a thing as "STORYTELLING". But I don't expect a 14 year old to know this. Movies were far less predictable and corporate than they are today, so not everything was completely formulaic, like today's movies. This change makes the scene pedantic

People have seen this before we know how it ends we aren't watching some unfamiliar movie nobody is on the edge of their seats like in '83. I like the change it fits except for the first NO the second is perfect and spot on but the first was a lil too much. And I am 14 but if you really knew me you would understand why I talk the way I do I am die hard Star wars and I'll defend my opinions.

@OBIPUGS Actually, he didn't even write or direct Empire or Jedi. Yes, he is the LEGAL copyright holder, and unfortunately can do what he wants. There ought to be new legal limits and expiration dates(after which, goes into public domain) on copyright for this reason alone. Since when is a director never finished with a film?? I still got my original laserdiscs and the slightly spruced up 2004 SE versions (love the new FX; absolutely hate Greedo shooting first and Anakin's new ghost). I'm done with rebuying SW over and over just to be further disappointed by these meaningless, arbitrary changes....
