The first and last time I heard Screaming Fist I was seventeen. Thirty years ago. I recall being overjoyed that my good friend had brought over the 45 that night. We began pogo dancing and the record skipped all over the place. My mom came in and said, "Turn it down! I can't hear myself THINK!" sorry, mom.

@ericleckie32 NO SHIT? DUDE, THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST PUNK BANDS EVER! I met your uncle at Penny Lane records on Queen St. in Toronto when I was like 17 years old...he signed a poster and my copy of 'A Taste of Honey'. Nicest SOB.

@Hemp206 ... uhhhhh, yes Viletones are one fine band. But give a listen to The Dicks from Austin Texas circa 1980-83. They spilt an LP with fellow Austinites, The Big Boys in 1980 called "Live At Raul's Club", Check out those songs on The Dicks' side. Also their 1983 LP called "Kill From The Heart". Very few bands come close to them.
perfect!

Seen pretty much every incarnation of this band, still hang out with the ones still alive on occasion. Toronto's scene is definitely under recognized
you should search out the ugly and the curse amongst others
