CrystalRainDrop789, thank you for sharing such a personal piece of you. So many people are dealing with similar issues but aren’t ready to express their feelings. This video, along with several of the videos you have posted on your channel provides comfort to patients and their families. It is inspiring to see a young lady shed light on a topic which is discussed seldom. We are glad you shared the poem and we encourage you to check out other Health Activists on our channel. Cheers WEGO Health
@CellarDoor103 I just went to your channel and see that you have a very triggering video. I can tell just from the thumbnail and warning. Please consider re-doing the video without the gore. No one needs to see that. You can tell your story effectively without the triggering pictures.
All Addictions are chemical,in the brain. When u cut, endorphins are released,u get a rush.Just like a cocaine addict gets,or a sex addict,or any addict. These things are considered addictions because they are destructive behaviors, that we r hooked on the ensuing chemical release...euphoria.You can follow any successful drug rehab rehabilitation format.A healthy way 2 get the endorphins is exercise,it wont be as sudden and strong, but will last longer. These things have a way of making us crazy.
@xwhatever33x I thought the same thing before this started. It's really hard to explain. I was exercising and doing all those things before and things were getting really bad. This is the way I'm coping and exercise just doesn't do the same thing. I know it's harmful. But it's what's getting me through right now.
@xwhatever33x It's not just the endorphins. That really doesn't account for much. There are so many other factors that are the driving force behind the addiction. Any kind of maladaptive coping mechanism can be become addictive. DBT is the most effective thing for self harmers because it addresses more than just the endorphin aspect.
I have to agree with xwhatever33x, Kelly... You really are loved and appreciated, and I hope you can find a healthier alternative to hurting yourself like that.

@TehKaptain The problem is I don't want to stop yet.

Kelly, You are Loved. You should not hurt yourself. Meditation can melt those thoughts away. No judgement, only concern.
Love and Light
Peace

@xwhatever33x Thank you :) I wish it were that easy. But it's an addiction that is really difficult to stop.
