Hey Woman:) I have a piercing in my nose now. I have had it since I was 19 years old and it's still open..it won't close and I am saved and in the Lord. I was not when I got it, but I'm so glad that I'm not disqualified from Him because I do have one...Peace
You'll find plenty of worldly, carnal Christian willing to egg you on to get a tattoo. If My Holy Father was physically here on earth today, He would not be marking up His body so He could be COOL like everybody else. Even it didn't go against the word it isn't very ladylike. I believe Christian woman should be the epitome of modesty and virtue. My answer about tattoos always get the Christian panties in an uproar.

OMG I got a tat my mommy name in a banner inside a heart. Knowing it was wrong> I got talked into getting one & no I dnt regret it. Do I want another one? YESSSS Will I get another one? Nope B/c I'm scared of what God may do since I am further in Christ & absolutely know its wrong.
First and foremost...I love the Lord! Secondly the Lord love me with all my piercings and tatts! I have 3 body tattoos and 4 now 3 piercings other than my ears. The cheek piercings are a new technique where they implant like a "button" so to speak underneath your skin so that the top part either screws or or is magnetic. I don't think God loves me any less b/c of my decisions. I love my piercings and tatts and I too want mo!!

Go get a tattoo! it is not necessarily true I have both. About scripture and tattoo, God loves us all! We just ordained a minister last month that has full sleeves and use to sport Jewish curls with his side burns.
I believe that those with tattoos can minister to a group of folks that non tattooed folks can't as they can relate. God loves us all no matter what we have on the outside. If you are living for God and he is the center of your life that is all that matters.
Beware, tattoos r contagious, once u get one will will be getting more, the only reference that I have seen in the bible referencing tattoos as being wrong is if they are attributed to a person that is dead. I am a Christian, Love GOD and have a tattoo and will be getting more!

i don't have any tattoos and the only piercings i have are my ears. but i do plan on getting a nose piercing and what encourages me is Ezekiel 8 "....yes i swore an oath to yu and entered into a covenant with you and you became Mine, says the Lord God" and verse 12 "And i put a jewel in your nose..." i also noticed that when the servant found a wife for Isaac he put a ring in her nose. it seems to be a symbol of a union/covenant to and through God....give your insight
