Nah I don't think alternative in itself put great bands like this out. It was the campy fake glammers that could not play their instruments and could not write hard hitting songs, Poison, Cinderella etc. that brought about the demise of ''hair metal''. By the way I still have this on VINYL!!!!

Hey, I googled the band. They have a web site that sells all their albums!! Perris music. I grew up listening to the Crue, Ozzy, Megadeath, Ratt, all this stuff. When I came across these guys on tv the other night, I didn't know if they were new and this kind of music was making a come back or what. They just stood out. They should have been huge. The musicianship, the vocals, the hook, a great frontman. Was management to blame?

I also grew up on Motley, Ratt, etc. Alot of these club bands got the raw end of the stick- there was TONS of awesome bands back then. Wildside, Pretty Boy Floyd, Roxxi to name a few. I have an interview with Kevin Steele (Roxx Gang singer) and he said that he believed Poison misunderstood the glam scene. Kevin said that it was about shocking, and that "Poison looked like the good kids next-door you would invite for dinner while Roxx Gang looked like the junkie hooker from the bad side of town"

To me this song sounds like something that could have been on Ratt's first couple of albums. By extension that also means it sounds a little like Judas Priest. That's pretty apparent in the riff heard during the verses. I have to say that I'm now a convert. I seemed to remember thinking this band sucked back in the day, but now I like it. It's got a good energy.

Wow! England, huh? Cool. Let's see, there is so many i like-Pretty boy Floyd, Slammin' Gladys, Tiger Tailz, Motley, Ratt, Dokken- Pretty much that whole 80's/90's era. I've been listening to alot of Bonfire, XYZ and Doro Pesch lately. If ya get a chance check out Bonfire, they're pretty cool. You can never go wrong seeing l.a.guns. I've seen them 4 times and they were excellent every time! :)
