I have a question. How do u repeat ur jabs without finishing off the last jab of the 3 jabs ike has? I mean i try to do the first 2 jabs of Ikes consecutively like 1,2,1,2,etc in the vid, but i ended up doing 1st jab, 2nd jab, then 3rd jab. How do u stop quickly after ur 2nd jab then repeat again with the 1st jab????
Because, like a majority of his attacks, it leaves him wide open if he whiffs. Also, because of it's limited movement, it can be predictible and should really only be used to get yourself out of a tight spot.
It's very punishable, if any of the attacks do not connect then Ike is wide open for a pretty decent amount of time. You'll notice neither player used any punishable moves, unless they were confident they could get away with them. This is especially risky in a match like this, where a miss is basically guaranteed to be punished (you could even do falcon punch if you space yourself right).
Even if you connect with Aether, you can't get much % or combo-ability out of it.

That is how you're suppose to use Ike, all you do is Neutral Airs, or fairs, bairs, etc. You don't smash till the end.
