She's never been in any of the games, the director just thought it would be a good idea to completely make up a character that didn't exist instead of concentrating on actual Resident Evil characters. The movies are nothing like the games and the plots completely contradict the source material. Alice is not in this movie because this movie is actually based some time after one of the games. Hope that cleared up anything for you.
