I Really liked this version, although I can't hear all the lyrics. When the album version came out it was a bit of a "shock". I loved this clean version with only Joshua and his guitar.

I like both versions now, but I wished that there was a better version (audio quality wise) of this song because I really love this one too.

Erin McCarley did the backing vocals on the album version Simple Times

Schuyler Fisk toured with him through Europe when Joshua was opening for Tori Amos, so did the backing vocals for him on those dates and when he headlined in London at the Monto Water Rats Theatre in July 2007 which is where and when this video was made.

Well, technically on the CD version, he took out the first line completely. Then changed the second line, which on this is "In the Hollywood Hills, You gave me chills" to "You looked like the sun..." BUMMER. i love the original lyrics.
