@hhhfgdg It's part of nature and life. You can't help feeling bad for the gazelle, but cheetahs do it because they have too, not because they want to. It doesn't make the cheetah bad or cruel just because it wants to eat. All living things have to eat to survive, and cheetahs are carnivores. I personally love cheetahs, and they're my favorite animals.  I don't like them any less for eating and doing what they're supposed to do. It's part of life.

The Cheetah was too close to the Gazelle , if it was further away that Gazelle would of outran it. Some people are asking why the fawns mother/herd wasn`t there? Well , usually the mother goes out , not too far , to get food so that the fawn can drink more milk. The ONLY way that fawn could of survived was if it was STILL.

well usually the parents go off and eat to supply milk to the fawn. and they keep the fawn in longer grass, because when they are young, they have no scent. and the parent does, so they keep them solidified so they dont gain a scent. and also, the mother can run faster, and has a chance to escape whatever is chasing it.

Cheetah's are faster but the gazelle has more stamina. If the gazelle spots a cheetah more than 30 yards away it would have outrun it. Anyway this act of sitting skill is done only by fawns. Adults always make a run for it.

I hunt deer o.O... but they are a huge problem in wisconsin, over populated. within a 9 mile stretch u will find about 3 to 6 dead deer on the road. I also eat what I kill. Not all hunting is bad. funds that go to hunting usually go to wild game reserves etc, unless you;re a trophy chaser or poacher then you just suck =>
