i see the problem. it's becuase you fell though the floor and it respawned you all the way back on the start so the game simply thinks you're still in the end, when you are on the start of the lap so every1 that passes the place you where counts it as you are in last

Well, it was just a glitch. You got somehow kicked under the track and the Wii didn't not noticed that you were in second lap already. So, after the first lap you were one lap behind the others. However, it is a cool glitch, the video is only titled wrong.
