  • I know this is five years old but on the slight chance that you have the fan part still intact or memory of how to build it could you please show it in greater detail??!

  • now THAT is awesome!

  • @778yoshi thx

  • You have done what i spent my childhood trying to do... =D

  • @Covonant117

    thanx :)

i spent one (but whole) night to build it

  • nice

  • @KingMysion

would be good to make version with deck made out of the film of lego bags :)

    @MvYTx

i'm not sure if i understand you well but i made 4 or 5 versions and i have one unfinished with steering

  • Arnt you gonna stand on it ??

  • Despite you using plastic film I would still call it pure lego due to the fact there is no lego equivalent!

    Nice job!

  • FINALLY FLYING LEGOS!!

  • what's your tip on making 1

  • @legoguylolforever

    1. what's the most important in terms of hovercrafts

    2. where you can make mistakes

    3. what you can do with your lego parts

    :)

  • AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanx

i'm curious why there are no other hovercrafts out there ;)

    answering some ppl below

if you watch the movie there are some extra info and links - please look there to see details of this creation

  • Just make it stronger and lighter to make it fly!

  • wow!

  • NICE! I like the design of the circulair body. Would it be possible to make the hovercraft remote controlled? (or did you already made it?)

  • what is the power output for set 8881?

and whats the highest a lego power functions "M motor" can take? e.g. how many volts?

  • Comment removed

  • uhhhh i basickly a fan

  • Brilliant, do you still do lego?

  • how did you get that motor running so fast???

  • i might have to try this.

  • a bit bigger and you would be able to put a back engine for propolsion

  • NEXT LEVEL COOL

  • WOW THAT WAS AWSOME !!!!!!!

  • Do you give that 9V motor more than 9Volt?

  • yes - for this version 9V was too weak so on this video it goes on 12V (as this is the very first version)

but version 2 worked on 9V very well

(you can see it with roller on top but still on 12V ;)

  • Make vid on how you made that. That's just AMAZING!!!

  • there is link on the movie to construction details site

  • Cool video, man! It gave me an idea. Have you guys seen those leaf blower-powered hover crafts? Well, after seeing this video, I thought: if the hoverboards of the future will be able to float about 8 inches off the ground, they'll have to be as light as this one and with a very light and powerful blower.

  • cool, now make some living quarters and a control room and u got urself the worlds coolest creation

  • COOLLLL!!!!

  • sweet hay what type of legos are those!!! but that is very cool! i see you respond well to your viewers well! NICE!

  • regular lego elements (except foil)

see details from the link on the movie

  • Gonna make one too. What sort of foil should i use? PVC from trash bags?

  • i used few types of the film

first version has thick foil (on the movie) but next version was thin and model was more slicky

but it also depends how efficient is the duct

  • you did that very well, i have to make one for school, could you plz send me some info of how you made this hovercraft, i absolutely love it

  • you can use it as a fan! lol

  • wow that is like really good for lego. Since you don't get much power to weight ratio with it.

  • super 5/5 prosimy o więcej

  • VERY GOOD!!!

  • Did you use a lego motor? If so which one?

  • sure! it's the oldest 9V lego motor with no gearing

  • where do you get a lego motor

  • Only legomotors I have got have came in with a construction kit.

That howercraft was very nice and stable by the way :)

  • legos or Knex's looks like knex's to me

  • definitely lego :)

  • Wow. How did you make that?

  • It's magic :)

    Just couple of tries.
