I know this is five years old but on the slight chance that you have the fan part still intact or memory of how to build it could you please show it in greater detail??!
Cool video, man! It gave me an idea. Have you guys seen those leaf blower-powered hover crafts? Well, after seeing this video, I thought: if the hoverboards of the future will be able to float about 8 inches off the ground, they'll have to be as light as this one and with a very light and powerful blower.

i'm not sure if i understand you well but i made 4 or 5 versions and i have one unfinished with steering

Arnt you gonna stand on it ??
MvYTx 6 months ago
Despite you using plastic film I would still call it pure lego due to the fact there is no lego equivalent!
Nice job!

NICE! I like the design of the circulair body. Would it be possible to make the hovercraft remote controlled? (or did you already made it?)

WOW THAT WAS AWSOME !!!!!!!
FishheadXL 2 years ago
Do you give that 9V motor more than 9Volt?
ATITANIC1992 2 years ago
yes - for this version 9V was too weak so on this video it goes on 12V (as this is the very first version)
but version 2 worked on 9V very well
(you can see it with roller on top but still on 12V ;)

regular lego elements (except foil)
see details from the link on the movie
pixsrv 3 years ago
Gonna make one too. What sort of foil should i use? PVC from trash bags?
Zblj1987 3 years ago
i used few types of the film
first version has thick foil (on the movie) but next version was thin and model was more slicky
but it also depends how efficient is the duct
pixsrv 3 years ago
you did that very well, i have to make one for school, could you plz send me some info of how you made this hovercraft, i absolutely love it
beertjeisbotergeil 3 years ago
you can use it as a fan! lol
LegoBloxxer 3 years ago
wow that is like really good for lego. Since you don't get much power to weight ratio with it.
