Haha. I shouldn't be laughing at this, but they'd look at each other for a minute... then they'd both yell really loud and in a spaz type way, then they'd come back to do it again. LOL.
I personally believe that these horses (and owners) were perfectly fine. I'm ASSUMING correct me if I am wrong that these two men wouldn't put their horses in any kind of danger, they are beautiful horses they would be stupid to do that. They clearly had complete control, even in just lead ropes the stallions listened and responded to them perfectly fine. No harm done. Why is everyone so negative. You "disliking" and whining about this video won't do anything.
@manistee101 the reason is there big animals. if they wanted to theyed get free. your talking about 2 1,000 pound horses stallions to be exact. they arent like mares or geldings. they have a disire to breed mares and get rid of the competition. that was dangerous and they put not just there horses but them in danger to.
Never ceases to amaze me how stupid people can be, and it amazes me more when they share stupidity in numbers. Isn't there one smart person out of the at least three people who are there?
Regardless of the comment on the danger, always present with stallions, I have never seen two Arabian stallions in this posture before except in paintings, so it was like a picture come to life for me. They are both stunning.
Are you serious? What are you thinking? This is so dangerous! These horses could hurt each other badly, maybe even kill each other if it escalates enough. I'm 15 and I know better.
If you are going to argue then just shutup because truth is.. NOBODY CARES! i mean god how many stupid people are trying to start fights right now? At least 3 so if you dont like this video.. HMM heres an idea DONT WATCH IT because this is really annoying.. But anyway beautiful horses i just love arabians :)
lol my stud does this all the time with our gelding even without mares around. It's just a display. Before the men pulled them away the stallions were turning from each other.
I don't mind the way they acted, since my horses do this almost every time they see each other in a neighboring stall or across the fence (even after years -.-).
I just mind two things: one is the constant poster's referring to them as "male" horses and "female" horses, when its mare, stallion, and gelding... The second issue is that the poster commented these two are showing off in front of mares -- I just don't think its a good idea to have two stallions with each other around mares.
@Onzevlog I suggest you go do a search for Tevis Cup 2007 video and watch what these skinny horses are capable of. (Tevis cup is 100 mile ride in 1 day over rough terrain) These little horses are much tougher than they look! They are just two boys squealing at each other. My mare did that to another mare and neither where in heat. These horses are far to valuable for their owners to let anything happen to them.
I disagree with this situation. Two male horses showing off? More like your trying to make your horses look "pretty". This wasn't very responsible of the stallions owners, what if they had gotten loose like they are VERY capable of doing and one killed the other? They are very very pretty, but thier are many other ways to show off your stock, acting like crazy wild horses really isn't THAT impressive if your looking for a show horse.
@kuwaitman I'm very aware of that. But it's dangerus. If they wanted to kill each other bad enough there is nothing those two guys could have done about it, then they would have one injured stallion and one dead. In my opinion the risk is not worth takeing.
@kuwaitman Bs. Their posturing and it's a dominance thing their up to. All I see are 2 good comformationwise arab studs being handled very badly and put in a potentially dangerous situation. They seem respectful of their handlers, but the handlers are using the leads to try to get a reaction out of the horses faster for the viewers/ the camera.
@kuwaitman Its not called showing off its challenging one another the winner gets the mare theirs no choice by the mare if they where off the leads its obvious they would fight.
@THEMrsKyoSohma Lol, It's called put a muzzle or "love mask" on the two stallions, Put the mare out with one for a week, then the other for the week, untill she's preggo, and after the baby comes out test it and whoever the daddy is wins! XD
Honestly, No matter how good you are with horses, This is irresponsible. If those two stallions really wanted to fight, there's no way someone on the end of the line could hold them very long. That being said, they are incrediable animals and I have no doubts about them being well cared for. Gorgeous stallions.
female horses act this way too when introduced to a stallion (especially if they are not quite ready to breed) - the horses are each restrained by a handler - no need to worry.
uhm, you know sooner or later in the wild two males WILL meet and you can't do SHIT about it. So be thankful that they were holding them away from eachother VVV
JFYI, the horse on the right is a liver chestnut. Doubt the owners consider these Shagya Arabians; probably just 'Arabians'. The horses are posing, showing off for each other, so we could enjoy them! Notice the handlers have no problem turning them away. They are refined, but Arab horses are some of the toughest horses on the planet. Interesting that some folks do not understand what they are seeing... Busy stallions are happy. Bored stallions can be dangerous.
My horse does this because he thinks he's still a stallion. The squeals scare the bajeezus out of me though! It just sounds like a dying animal... Gorgeous bay though! =D
Quick question: Where are you guys located and do you do any breeding? My husband and I are interested in breeding Arabians and Shagya Arabians and we are looking for stock. If you're out of the US do you ship semen and horses overseas at all? We have a Psyncere daughter as our first mare to be bred to WH PosidonsMotion in 2012. Do you have a website?
@hydelau88 the center is located in northern kuwait. i don't know if they do breeding you have to ask them. i made their website. ask them at their contact page. aljeyad.com
@hotty496 Its Posturing, which in the wild would encourage one of the wild stallions to back down with out a fight. If one does not back down after the posturing then it would turn into a fight.
@hotty496 you are dumb. thats what they do to show off their necks. it makes a prettier picture, EVERYONE who shows horses does that. at no point did they let them hurt eachother.
@yooper948 shut the fuck up man. at least i care and do things to stand for what i beleive in. plus u need to shut the fuck up and go get a life. im not a horse trainer and i never plan on it. i plan on breeding them and making a better and more dependable breed of horse.
They just want to show them up, beacause as you can see they do amazing positions especially with their arched neck! I think they love these stallions as you can see at their beautiful halters!
@Finula99 horses are not porcelain dolls. i rather have a stallion with a few rips and bruises with lives happily with a friend and can get a chance at being a real stallion in a real bachelour group like all young stallions should than have an imaculate coat on a mark free horse that is condemned to a life sentence of solitary existance. Some are lucky to get a gelding at least...
@DJBelbe You are missing the point....and I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince you otherwise...I'm glad I'm not a horse owned by you....By the way.....most stallions shouldn't even be stallions...only the VERY BEST should be kept as stallions and ever allowed to breed. Same goes for mares....this is why there are so many poor quality, clubbed footed Arabian out there....with many other problems...
@Finula99 if u think that way, no point talkin to u either. My stallion is a very happy boy, perfectly confident, fully trustworthy, an angel with children, perfectly manageable around mares, a very good fighter, very fatherly to younger stallions and wise enough not to seriously harm any other stallion unless his safety is at risk. In the 4 years I've owned him he never got any injury of concern and in all the years his breeder has had horses nothing of such as happened either.
@DJBelbe Read "The Secret Life of Stallions" if you whant to know a bit more from who has actually studied them.
In your line of thought I am doing a vasectomy on my horse once I get another little brat out of him as his line nearly ended when his mother died. I will not geld him because I think boys should be allowed to be boys, else I'd geld all annoying human males, plus all the ones with diabetes, genetic chronic artritis, genetic poor kidneys, poor eyesight, etc...
You poor girl....Call up your vet and ask them about spaying mares...it most certainly can be done and IS done....Secondly....You breed crappy horses and guess what? it = crappy horses.....You need to get out more and have a look around you at the over saturated horse market and the mostly poor choices people make when breeding.

@Finula99 Of course it can be done. But an ovariectomy is usually quite costly and can have unexpected side effects. Using a marble can lead to fatal uterine infections. Thanks, but I think I'd rather keep my mare safe and just stable her at a barn that doesn't allow stallions.
All the breeders I know turn out incredible and successful horses. Sure there are a few backwoods breeders but I wouldn't classify them as the majority. You seem to be quite the expert on breeding and equine health
JESUS those are some high-strung arabs with high egos :D Neither of them has perfect conformation, but that one on the right is possibly the finest-boned horse I've ever seen : ) I can see the point of introducing the two horses to each other, but with reactions like that I can't see either horse surrendering and becoming bravo horse, so I'm doubting they could ever be consolidated at all.
@Nizingur No they are NOT Shagyas! This is a stud in Kuwait. They would not let a Shagya anywhere NEAR their breeding horses. These are asil (Purebred) Arabians, Probably Egyptian. Shagyas are NOT purebreds. Shagyas are a warmblood cross with a strong Arabian influence. Shagyas must have at lest 25% Arabian blood to be considered Shagya Arabians, but they are never 100%. Point is they are not purebreds. THESE obvioulsy are.
@EquineDreams Not that I really give a damn, and never have, about the Arab breed in general. Ridiculously pompus over-adored by fangirl followings. But this entire video screams of bad horsemanship. That's the only noteworthy thing about it.
@Nizingur I'm not saying I approve of the way these horses are being shown off either. But not because I think they are in danger- They both have special halters designed for controlling stallions. I do not like what they are doing because it give a WRONG idea about what Arabian horses really are. You want to see Arabians really performing go see my videos on Arabian Jumpers, Arabian dressage, Arabian western horses & look up 2007 tevis cup. Oh Lipizzaner stallions perform together regularly.
the reason people put such dressed stallions near each other is often for halter or show classes (arabian stallions, typically) in order to make them "show off" for the other horses and make them more hyper to give more action to their gaits, etc. I've seen pictures of it being done at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in Arizona, U.S., as well.
This is a very dangerous thing to do, I do not get why they let the horses get so close.. If one or the other would've kicked there could've been major damage don to the other. :(
are these studs or geldings??? cuz it would be soo dumb totry to make 2 stud horses touch noses. they will tear each other apart, especialy in the arabian show halters. trust me, they will break.
@joez123100 cruel!? HOW is this cruel?! Looks to me like they are trying to introduce two horses. Obviously you haven't been around horses much. My mare would kick any other mare that got to close. She did ok with geldings... but mares.. no way.
I only liked this video because the horses are beautiful. But really, what is the point of holding two male horses together when they obviously don't like each other?
@kristelledecker That was going to be my exact question. It's a known fact for the most part, by nature, stallions do not get along. What's the point of this? And I mean of bringing them near each other in the video. Like asking for trouble.
@kristelledecker because they're kuwaiti's. like any third world country's people, they leave you scratching your head going...'wtf?' thats why. are you really that surprised? you must not see these folks on tv arguing with each other. son of a bitch.
@kristelledecker - The point is that they show off for each other, (like males of many species), so all viewers of this video could see them at their best.
they are so beautiful! the way they are introducing them makes it appear they are a breeding pair, usually no need to introduce them otherwise. either way... their sexes cannot be determined.... nor are they DEFINITELY one or the other. Males often interact this way, whether they be stallions OR geldings. Just depends on the horses and how they get along. They could also be females or male and female. Any combo. They are arabs. They are hot blooded and temperamental more often than not.
its two stallion, you can tell by how well- muscled the necks are- when they're stallions they naturally have necks like that. what made you think they were mare and stallion?!
@specialstuff94 These are purebred arabians. THEY ALL HAVE graceful well muscled necks. Google stuff before posting on youtube. google an arabian mare and they are
Haha. I shouldn't be laughing at this, but they'd look at each other for a minute... then they'd both yell really loud and in a spaz type way, then they'd come back to do it again. LOL.

Why would you risk injury to such beautiful animals? One of these days an injury will occur and you will be sorry when it's too late....DUMB!
Finula99 7 months ago
@Finula99 horses are not porcelain dolls. i rather have a stallion with a few rips and bruises with lives happily with a friend and can get a chance at being a real stallion in a real bachelour group like all young stallions should than have an imaculate coat on a mark free horse that is condemned to a life sentence of solitary existance. Some are lucky to get a gelding at least...
DJBelbe 6 months ago 2
@DJBelbe You are missing the point....and I'm not going to waste my time trying to convince you otherwise...I'm glad I'm not a horse owned by you....By the way.....most stallions shouldn't even be stallions...only the VERY BEST should be kept as stallions and ever allowed to breed. Same goes for mares....this is why there are so many poor quality, clubbed footed Arabian out there....with many other problems...
Finula99 6 months ago
@Finula99 if u think that way, no point talkin to u either. My stallion is a very happy boy, perfectly confident, fully trustworthy, an angel with children, perfectly manageable around mares, a very good fighter, very fatherly to younger stallions and wise enough not to seriously harm any other stallion unless his safety is at risk. In the 4 years I've owned him he never got any injury of concern and in all the years his breeder has had horses nothing of such as happened either.
DJBelbe 6 months ago

LOVE ARABS!!
MrGummybearluver 7 months ago
JESUS those are some high-strung arabs with high egos :D Neither of them has perfect conformation, but that one on the right is possibly the finest-boned horse I've ever seen : ) I can see the point of introducing the two horses to each other, but with reactions like that I can't see either horse surrendering and becoming bravo horse, so I'm doubting they could ever be consolidated at all.

Beautiful Horses. Whats the breeding??
TheEgyptianArabian 7 months ago
@TheEgyptianArabian They are obviously shagya arabs.
Nizingur 7 months ago
@Nizingur No they are NOT Shagyas! This is a stud in Kuwait. They would not let a Shagya anywhere NEAR their breeding horses. These are asil (Purebred) Arabians, Probably Egyptian. Shagyas are NOT purebreds. Shagyas are a warmblood cross with a strong Arabian influence. Shagyas must have at lest 25% Arabian blood to be considered Shagya Arabians, but they are never 100%. Point is they are not purebreds. THESE obvioulsy are.
EquineDreams 2 months ago
@EquineDreams Not that I really give a damn, and never have, about the Arab breed in general. Ridiculously pompus over-adored by fangirl followings. But this entire video screams of bad horsemanship. That's the only noteworthy thing about it.
Nizingur 1 month ago
@Nizingur I'm not saying I approve of the way these horses are being shown off either. But not because I think they are in danger- They both have special halters designed for controlling stallions. I do not like what they are doing because it give a WRONG idea about what Arabian horses really are. You want to see Arabians really performing go see my videos on Arabian Jumpers, Arabian dressage, Arabian western horses & look up 2007 tevis cup. Oh Lipizzaner stallions perform together regularly.

Hey could I use this in a video I am making? You'll get full credit! :)
equestrianngurl 8 months ago
wow those horses are beauitfully stunning!!
chloekat3 8 months ago
the reason people put such dressed stallions near each other is often for halter or show classes (arabian stallions, typically) in order to make them "show off" for the other horses and make them more hyper to give more action to their gaits, etc. I've seen pictures of it being done at the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in Arizona, U.S., as well.

This is a very dangerous thing to do, I do not get why they let the horses get so close.. If one or the other would've kicked there could've been major damage don to the other. :(
badabamlamm 9 months ago
hey! let's bring in a mare why don't ya! Push those stallions over the limit!
This was not very smart. Sorry to say
twosheas 9 months ago
are these studs or geldings??? cuz it would be soo dumb totry to make 2 stud horses touch noses. they will tear each other apart, especialy in the arabian show halters. trust me, they will break.
HayleyWagner1 9 months ago
These men are very stupid. If those horse's ever got a hold of one another, they both could be ruined. These men a very FUCKING stupid.
QHFanatic1993 9 months ago
And - there is no way the owners of horses that beautiful and well-bred are going to risk them by allowing them to even touch each other.
universalradio 9 months ago
They're not "fighting"!!! Its just horse talk for "I could beat you up if I wanted to."
universalradio 9 months ago
this is crule you shouldnt be doing this
joez123100 9 months ago
@joez123100 cruel!? HOW is this cruel?! Looks to me like they are trying to introduce two horses. Obviously you haven't been around horses much. My mare would kick any other mare that got to close. She did ok with geldings... but mares.. no way.
Shokara2 9 months ago
I only liked this video because the horses are beautiful. But really, what is the point of holding two male horses together when they obviously don't like each other?
kristelledecker 10 months ago 52
@kristelledecker That was going to be my exact question. It's a known fact for the most part, by nature, stallions do not get along. What's the point of this? And I mean of bringing them near each other in the video. Like asking for trouble.
BlindMagSoprano 8 months ago
@kristelledecker
they are trying to make them say sorry and apologize to each other
THISISAVERYCOOLNAME 8 months ago
@kristelledecker because they're kuwaiti's. like any third world country's people, they leave you scratching your head going...'wtf?' thats why. are you really that surprised? you must not see these folks on tv arguing with each other. son of a bitch.
saturnfan 7 months ago
@kristelledecker well maybe they were having them meet or they just wanted the two horses to kind of get used to eachother....
HorseshoeStables11 7 months ago
@kristelledecker In the middle east the don't believe in gelding their horses, but they still have them work together side by side.
LoveMyPazaaz123 5 months ago
@kristelledecker - The point is that they show off for each other, (like males of many species), so all viewers of this video could see them at their best.

kuwaitman 10 months ago
they are so beautiful! the way they are introducing them makes it appear they are a breeding pair, usually no need to introduce them otherwise. either way... their sexes cannot be determined.... nor are they DEFINITELY one or the other. Males often interact this way, whether they be stallions OR geldings. Just depends on the horses and how they get along. They could also be females or male and female. Any combo. They are arabs. They are hot blooded and temperamental more often than not.
mizzluscious08 10 months ago

its two stallion, you can tell by how well- muscled the necks are- when they're stallions they naturally have necks like that. what made you think they were mare and stallion?!
specialstuff94 11 months ago
@specialstuff94 These are purebred arabians. THEY ALL HAVE graceful well muscled necks. Google stuff before posting on youtube. google an arabian mare and they are
