Hmm, just looking at more amateur player that brought me to this video, It is interesting how instead of just moving a flat hand she moves her fingers from a fist position and moves the volume like she is conducting... It almost looks like she is playing a string instrument.

Nice to see that the theremin can really be legitimately played, most of what I see is very interesting not exactly pleasing to the ear because of the tendency to play out of tune.

JLM - Many don't realize the theramin sound became part of our lives some years ago on the NBC network.

It is the signature 'voice' in Mancini's 'Mystery Movie Theme.'

Thank you. Such VERY beautiful playing; so wonderfully expressive that I almost feel as if I can hear the words of the song in the theremin's "voice". This is a piece I've tried playing myself, and hearing it again makes me determined to learn it!
