  • First heard in '83, very early in the morning, driving from LA to Las Vegas. Not as glamarous as it may sound, passengers were my aunt and uncle and brother. Brother and I only ones awake. On the radio.....this beautiful music.

  • This song really is a "lost hit," as it never gets played ANYWHERE.

You have to wonder if this song got re-released as a single whether it would be a hit now simply because of it getting so little airplay for so long.

  • I Love This Song Bought The 45Rpm.Back In The Earley 80's Put It On Cassett I Thought The Guy Sound Like Neil Diamond A Little But It Wasn't..But Any Way I Love This Song. It's Good Music....And The Guy Is Great Too.

  • Esta música lembra a alguém um verão nos açores em 1983? :)

  • this song has also been rumbling around in my head for about an hour. I have no idea why.

  • @garycalgary The music has been composed by a composer who created some of the most haunting, rocking, rythmic, serene and peacefull music of all times : Ludwing van Beethoven. The same one who composed the Moonlight Sonata and song of Joy.

  • @Tahititoutou

This information was out there when the song first was released; do you have a point?

  • @nula07 Easy to understand in the context : I was answering garycalgary who had no idea why this song haunted him. Just like many, he probably did not recognize Beethoven's sonata N°8 at first hearing of the song, so he did not realize he had already heard that melody many times the first time he heard the song. Forthermore, Beethoven had the talent to compose haunting music.

  • All I have to say is....Thank you, thank you, thank you! I finally found it and am so happy that I did. I knew the music because I have the Beethoven music from it, but I was having difficulty remembering who sang it. I knew Midnight Blue...but then it got hairy as who it was singing it. Thanks again...

  • good sound quality...

  • Beautiful video to accompany Beethoven's incredible music. He would have loved it, or so I would like to believe.....
