Cherry. I still have the bumpers just drill the holes and they bolt back on. All this was done in the 70's because I did not have the money to rechrome them. Same with the front end it is an 82 front clip.got wrecked and they replaced with the clip. I owned the car probably b4 your were born 1978. Also I guess slaughtered it by replacing the 350 with a 454 rat

Would look so much better with the stock front bumper. The car looks good from the front but when you see it from the side it just looks awful. Needs side pipes or side ground effects to blend the aftermarket front.

@VetteAholicZ06 You are so right. thats actually the 3rd motor i put in it. The stock 350 wouldnt even brake torque. Then 396 spin a little. The 454 spins too much. You being either a Vette Owner or driver knows its an indepenent rear end NOT a straight axle.

@txmarman38 ok we all know that vettes have independant but you are full of shit when you say that stock motor wont break them loose my friend has a 94 crossfire injection and 4+3 trans yes 7 spd and he cant get traction and i knew a girl in highschool that had a 74 bone stock and it would get sideways on her if it wont break them loose then your motor is either worn or not much hp

Well its probably a stock 190hp 350.

Best bet is a L82 250 hp 350.

Hahahaa a vette motor with 200hp. thats pathetic but emissions killed the muscle car.

A 1970 vettle with a lt1 is under rated at 370 and the 454 is rated at 470 so you picked the wrong year well for power at least. But you could change it all anyway so who cares. Its still a sweet car ill give you that.

@REGALBOY82 Its a 69 LS7(454), square port heads, Roller rockers,HEI, Holley 830, actually the 3rd motor in it. Stock was 350ci then i tried a 396ci and finally the 454. Thanks

@txmarman38 The 454 did not come out until the yr. 1970. The LS-7 was a crate motor over the counter. The LS-6 was a 454 put into cars, but the LS-7 (Corvette) motor was never installed into a production car. Thanks.

just about any decent car can do that, just think to yourself, "f*** the clutch" and step on it, usually does the trick. but a real burnout is a lot harder to do

Its the original no powerbrake just horsepower. stop,mash the gas pedal and the wheels spin and emit white smoke. NOT front brake locked till the wheels spin (any car will do that)
