the ford gt was a new benchmark for american cars, that's all. it's a hoot to drive, and loves to slide, but everybody knows it's very ponderous through the corners for a hypercar. its brute force is so enormous that it never really mattered, though.

Those slicks and race suspension on the formula ford gives quite a handicap. Put that on the ford and we have a real race ^^

As said above, the formula ford cars dont run slicks.  The tyres are more similar to older F1, groved. They are not very gripy either, trust me! :D
