Glad to have seen this...honestly. But really, seeing all those cameras and video screens in front of ya kinda takes away from the magic of the moment, doesn't it? Its a win and lose proposition. I say put your damn cameras down and enjoy the show, but whatever. I got to see it....shake it!

I fucking love the way bob weir changes tempo and overall grooves of certain songs. The way he sometimes delays his lyrics sends chills down my spine, and i don't know how anyone could ever bash him. He is for sure the greatest rhythm guitarist of all time.
Yes, n' I hereby apologize to Bobby, for all the jokes I laughed at (& the t-shirt that I bought) back around the '91 Tour that said things like "Give Bobby a Break- It ain't easy being Cheezy!"... He's a fine singer, guitarist, up-standing member of the (Bohemian Grove & other) Communities and a proud family man!
lol I agree about the weird phrasings....but really, no talent? Weir is probably the most brilliant rock rhythm guitarists ever. Find a recording where you can really hear his guitar work (esp. during stuff like Dark Star or the Other One, then sit back, key into what he's doing, and be amazed.
notice bobby lookin at dereks slide playin with bewilderment.... sugaree taken where its never been... only where duane or derek could ever go! Duane Allman was the best guitarist ever!!
if duane was around today or came up in the times derek did, his sound would be a little different too, though derek is really unique and has evolved into his own skin but still owes a lot to the school of duane allman! lol
i was at this show saturday night. bob and phil played sugaree , i know you rider and franklins tower... bob seemed to be having equipment problems and kept going back and fooling with his amp for most of the time they were on stage ...................

Leave Bob Weir alone. I miss the Dead so fucking much, just as they were. They were the best times, ever.
