where is the top speed reached?? i know the ACO calculates it just before the first chicane on the Mulsanne but i've heard that people in the know say it's not actually there but further down the track.thx
@ArchiFloyd I think Chevrolet already told Motor Trend that they wouldn't put a dual-clutch in the C7 or the current ZR1. Definitely, the C7 isn't going to be mid-engined, and I don't think it'll have a dual-clutch either (still need to perfect it here on the racetrack before putting it in the road car, this has only been the first year with the dual-clutch C6.R)

one more thing, How many electronics do you use? ABS TCS Stability thingy etc? or none. I Imagine that it would go faster to use none of them since it forces the driver to do it all perfectly every time, however, easier to make a mistake.
@Yellowcard7777 Well, I know that some traction control is allowed by the ACO; however, I'm not sure if it's just the prototypes or if it's allowed on the GT cars too. The gearbox is a dual-clutch now, however. I could have sworn reading that ABS was allowed, but apparently on the ALMS website it says that brake intervention is not allowed.
