@pattysmyth4 Good point. This is Darwinism at it's finest. Humans - being merely evolved beasts - having their own attributes thrust upon animals. By this logic we can be sure the failing elk is now seeing a counselor to help ease the emotional burden while contemplating a career change...perhaps to mule deer or big horn ram.
