@Leonourd it only seems like they coppied every thing because iphone was first so the other companies didnt have time to think up the ideas but they probably would have if they had the chance. but they didn't copy everything for example the pull down notifications bar was thought up by android and the only iphone that is better than the nexus one is the iphone 4 so its not weird at all

pinch zoom is becoming a standard thing. some laptops have it for their touch pads now. Hope Google keeps up the great updates and doesn't go down the release a new phone every year with one or two minor new features road like Apple. ( ya I'm a hater, they're crooks).

Yes, that's extremely fast for smartphones, especially a smartphone which has a ton of overhead since it has to load the animated wallpaper + initiate the OS.

A heavily modified jailbroken iPhone will take just as long, if not longer, to boot up.

The nexus one has a terrible multitouch! First i've recently discovered that it has a dualtouch only screen (ClearPad 2000) only 2 fingers. And those 2 fingers work terrible. Shame on google.

@sidhu1000 Depends how you are connected. To use 3G, from T-Mobile in UK, you will have to pay a one-time £9.89, without you don't get 3G. on T-Mobile.

Why would a nexus one want to have lesser hardware? Besides Multi touch was being played with by bell labs in the 80s It's just only recently became popularized. A touch screen phone without Multi-touch would not be able to type quickly on the keyboard as any second press would cause the wrong keys to be pressed or missed. It's just that so many people wanted pinch zooming Google released an update for it, which has existed in places other than the iPhone.

What he means is that the iPhone is going to start to use Bing as its default search engine and coincidently Google adds multi-touch to the nexus one. He's basically saying that Google enabled multi-touch in order to get back at Apple though.

Did you already get a chance to go hand-on with the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10? What do you think, wait for that or buy the Nexus One. I also use my phone as a digital camera and I'm upgrading from a Nokia N95, which has a 5MP Carl Zeiss lens. So camera-wise would it be an upgrade at all (to the Nexus One)?

In my opinion to double tap is a lot better and easier to accomplish. Anyway, the browser is insanely fast, damn it. Very nice indeed.
