Pac and Big died around the same time in 96/97 and although there was not a massive memorial like this given to them there were various tributes done to them at various awards shows such as the MTV awards 97.. same thing for Aaliyah when she passed CNN did have footage of her service and everything but nothing massive like this.
I can't stand funerals any funeral they just make me sick and are soo hard to go to but I know their necessary. I absolutely love Marlon's speech about Micheal , it was very endearing to me !! He and Marlon were the closest in age I believe separated by only 9months!!! I was crying when Marlon ended his speech by telling Micheal to do him a favor when he gets to heaven whih was to give their brother( Marlon's twin brother) a hug for him . That really tore me up cuz I was saying to myself that Marlon should mention about Micheal being with the brother none of them ever met and he said the very thing!!!

Why should we believe some person hiding behind a computer screen versus Michael's family. That would make a lot of sense (sarcasm). Anyways, Michael's family has stated that they tried several interventions and they were ultimately unsuccessful. Liz Taylor tried to help MJ, too right before the first molestation accusations in 1993. Michael wasn't very responsible if you ask me.

I choose to view Michael in totality. Not just a talented entertainer. The rational sense and self-esteem of the dark skin children in my family has more value than idolizing Michael, who had self hate. A person who dark skin people should look at with a judicious eye. He sang a song, Don't matter if you Black or White. Then dyes his son's hair blond. Hung a bunch of pictures of blue-eyed White babies on his home walls. That’s psychological problems. I’m not blemished to the extreme.

What is psychologically going on in Michael Jackson head, with all the pictures of White children hung up on the walls in his room? Do a web search using ' Neverland Ranch Michael Room Zimbio'. Jacksons are portraying they loved Michael Jackson and were a close family. Yet, not one of them were concerned enough to tell Michael he had serious problems. Might still be alive today if they did. He needed to be 'mess with/critiqued' for his own sake. He did not like being Black, was a drug addict, dangle his son off a balcony, and extremely slovenly. Any young impressionable Black boy watching Michael's biography would have learned he was talented, but pick up a lot of detrimental habits.

To buy the best lawyers, have influential friends to vouch for their integrity, or pay accusers for alleged wrongdoing. 99% of Black men engaged in flagrant destructive behavior will in up incarcerate; not a free man such as Michael was. Young Black men need to be reminded of the consequences’ of any kind of destructive behavior.

@devore504 No I have not tapped the Jackson's phone. I do know how to physically go over a beloved family member's home if they are behaving in an unusual manner. I know how to use the phone to call the police and child care social service to go assess a situation. If I come to the conclusion children's life's are in jeopardy. Child card social service know's how to call a psychiatrist, if they assess a parent's behavior is not conducive to their children's welfare, or the parent in question.

What makes me more angry is seeing all the celebrities at the Memorial Service, and not really being there for Michael when he was alive. I never thought in my lifetime this early, I would see the day Michael died. I thought he would be like 90 and still dancing to Thriller and shaking it in the way you make me feel. Still a day I wish I didn't have to live through - I remember what I was doing at that exact time and cried on the way home learning he was passed. The next day after, I was waiting in the car for my mom and playing Michael on the radio, the person next to me gave me a thumbs up. Michael, you made the world stop.

@bitches2suck I was thinking the same for Aaliyah and Biggie too. But I guess it depends on the status of a celebrity and their role in the world. Pac and Big died around the same time in 96/97 and although there was not a massive memorial like this given to them there were various tributes done to them at various awards shows such as the MTV awards 97.. same thing for Aaliyah when she passed CNN did have footage of her service and everything but nothing massive like this.

I can't stand funerals any funeral they just make me sick and are soo hard to go to but I know their necessary. i think she is too young to know how to deal with a loss. i remember when i was at my grandma's funeral i think i was her age. i didn't cry at all, not even when i saw her dead body. i didn't cry until the very end, when the curtain came down around her coffin. she had to stand infront of all those people and talk about her dad.

Some kids cry non stop others don't know what to think and don't even know whats going on. She was 11 though so she obviously knew but just because she isn't crying up there doesn't mean anything. Those kids and the whole family had to do this in front of the world. Their lives were never normal and this certainly isn't. We are able to mourn in private they couldn't.
