@oakfever You can do that when you have true professionals that know what there suppose to do when they get to the fire!! remember these guys fight more fires in a month than most do in a 20 year career!!! thanks for the comment. and Darn I sure do miss those 3/4 boots!! take care Lt. Tony B
i never seen any one with a mask on until the end.. protect yur health people. after reading the officers hand book i learned that its alot of bad stuff in this smoke and now days u dont knw wat people have in thier homes that could b burning.. as long as u do yur job wearing job doesnt make u look soft even during over haul.. think safe!!!!
Funding, let me tell you about funding Just read in the paper today 54 of us maybe getting laid off here at GFD. ....There is nothing wrong with using a axe, its a good workout.LOL
How Ironic this house once belong to the Black Oak volenteer fire dept. capt. in the early 80's, i noticed they never pluged into the fire hydrent right in front of the house, i got a scar on my chin from that hydrant, i lived just 2 houses down to the right ...now abandoned and ready for fire in this once wonderful neighborhood, google earth this street @ street level interesting choice for hidef images from google,... post when 2344 wheeler burns....i know its coming how sad.....
