Jesus never commanded us to not get married, Jesus DID command us to love enemies, lay down life, and not return violence with violence. Your issue is you love your flesh, deny yourself! You don't want to obey Jesus, either repent or stop fooling yourself. How do your love an enemy and attack in defense?

It surely is Christian to LAY YOUR LIFE DOWN... that's what takes the courage of Christ, for most have no issue FIGHTING for their lives, but laying down your flesh for Him is a true witness. Read Jesus' and apostles words some more please--under Christ, no fighting physically.

Luke 17:33--told to the disciples to lay down their lives

Luke 18:7/Rev 6:9-10---saints cry out for GOD to avenge, not our job to avenge

Rom 12, did you read? Matthew 5:43-48...?

How do you attack someone and love them at the same time? Never had an answer to this.

I have no issues with God causing/bringing judgment. The Lamb of God will return as a Lion, and will wipe out all the armies standing to oppose Him at His return.... But WE as His followers in this age, Christians(not Israel, or under the King of David's rule) are to obey Him. We imitate Him on what I quoted you, Jesus didn't command not to get married... Jesus COMMANDED to lay your life down and that if you seek to save it you'll lose it. Deny your flesh

My point is that Jesuses mission in that segment of time was to be crusified. Our mission is to defend our selvs and our lives. King David did the same thing and God told him "on you left 10.000 will lay and on your right 1.000"!

Interesting as the idea of 'Mercy Cuts' is basically what Sun-tzu would have taught. The idea is to wear out your enemy logistically, especially if he has more resources and men than you do. Every soldier of his you wound (as opposed to kill), you actually take 3 out of battle: 1 wounded and 2 to bring that soldier to a safe area. You also make your enemy eat up his medical and other logistical assets. Said wounded soldier goes home to mama all fragged up, lessening civilian appetites for war.
